A sensual and inviting track, ‘Gimme Love’ smoothly marries the sounds of Afrobeats and R&B. Spearheading perhaps one of the first all-female collaborations in contemporary Afrobeats, Seyi and Teyana’s silky voices beautifully complement each-other as they make their alluring demands known.
No stranger to the industry, Seyi Shay has long been honing her skills as an artist. Signing her first record deal with Sir George Martin (best known for his work The Beatles), she would go on to front the girl group From Above who were managed by father of Beyonce, Matthew Knowles.
‘Gimme Love’ comes ahead of Seyi’s highly anticipated forthcoming EP dropping in November. It’s set to be executively produced by hitmakers Sarz (Drake, Wizkid) and Harmony Samuels (Janet Jackson, Ariana Grande, Chris Brown).
