This summer, Russ has performed all over the world with recent performances in Portugal, Egypt, Jordan, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and more, all with massive crowds singing every word to his songs as documented on his Instagram. The concept of the video is to capture the groove of the song. The idea was to show all types of different dance being done to the song. Pole dancers, break dancers, astronauts on the moon listening to the song, dead people dancing, etc. The lyrics are more serious and dark in nature, so instead of a doom and gloom video I wanted to create a video that put the focus on the groove of the song. I think it makes the song more fun and exciting for the listener. The lyrics will speak for themselves for the listener who can relate. As I stated before Magic Man is the drug dealer who is benefiting off the addicts addiction. Fueling the demise of others for his own gain. The song expresses the path of the desperate addict giving up more and more to satisfy their addiction, until they are so desperate they take everything they need from Magic Man by putting a gun to his head.’But they ask so politely indeed.’ The video was created and produced by Robin Divver (Rock & Roll Rd. Productions).
The Shys Frontman Kyle Krone Releases Latest Solo Single Track “Higher”
“Higher” is an uplifting and easygoing tune inspired by the surf towns of South Orange County, reflecting on how the visual expressions of surfing and skating influenced Krone’s style. It also addresses themes of personal evolution and freedom from the things that may hold people back. Here’s what Kyle had to say about the song:
The Lonesome Billies are a Portland 4 piece country act that is heavily influenced by 70s era country (think Light In the Attic’c “Country Funk” comps, Kenny Rogers and the First Edition, Waylon, WIllie and Merle). The band grew up and bonded over skateboarding in the 90s and members work in the industry, so their shows often bring a crowd of punks and skaters. They do annual “Family Tradition Potluck & Musical Extravaganzas”, which is a potent mixture of family, friends, food and music accompanied by a live auction to raise money for local nonprofits (they’ve raised over $50k).

Fast rising Minneapolis band Nooky Jones is back with a new EP, Like Candy, slated for release on Friday, September 27, 2019. Like Candy represents the evolution in songwriting, arranging, recording, and producing in the two years since the release of Nooky Jones’ self-titled debut album. The band wanted to produce a collection of songs that captures the high octane atmosphere of the Nooky Jones live show experience, a sound that has been described by NPR’s Heavy Rotation as “equal parts Stevie Wonder, D’Angelo and Prince…guaranteed to move both heart and booty.” The band will celebrate the release of their EP at the legendary Paisley Park on September 28th, making it the first live ticketed event at the historic grounds, since Prince’s passing in 2016.

LECRAE AND ANDY MINEO RELEASE THE OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO FOR “COMING IN HOT”
Award-winning rap artist Lecrae and hip-hop artist/producer Andy Mineo unveiled the official music video to their firey track “Coming In Hot” today.
