New Canadian indie-rock group, Radio Free Universe or RFU, release the official music video for their first single “Even Angels” off of their debut album “Love” which is slated for release in early 2020. The official music video is now available to view on YouTube. Click here to view and here to stream.
“Even Angels” has been hailed as a canticle ode to those who’s sadness and grief overwhelmed them to a breaking point, according to Vents Magazine. Press surrounding Radio Free Universe can be seen on Skope Magazine and The Grateful Web.
The official music video, directed by Max Smith, is nothing short of a superb indie creation. Smith is notorious for shooting with up-in-coming indie-rock groups such as Moonlight Desires, Sons of Butchers, and Abbey.
Similar to the single, the “Even Angels” music video takes the viewer through a lifetime of events they may have encountered and largely reflects on the past through the future. With a dash of DIY-feel, the “Even Angels” video is extremely relatable, personal, and honest. This can also attest the air of DIY needed to fuel today’s indie music scene.
