Kat Lee unveils stunning new single “Catch & Release”
The song premiered via Groundsounds who noted, “The stirring, sweeping single is an intimate indie-folk portrait of Lee taking stock of herself. Lee’s ethereal vocals and the artfully crafted, brilliantly lush arrangement draws you into the intimate space in which ‘Catch & Release’ was created (her bedroom) and, as all great art does, stokes similar contemplations within yourself.”

“There’s a Nietzsche quote about how artists muddy the water to make it seem deeper than it really is, and as harsh as that sounds, we think it applies directly to our current political situation. One of the challenges in writing this album was trying to maintain a sense of positivity and hope in such an increasingly negative socio -political climate, especially since we’ve had trouble writing ‘happy’ songs in general. This song asks the listener to see the reality we’re currently facing while remembering that good things tend to emerge out of the worst circumstances.” – The Ballroom Thieves
18-year-old South African rapper on the rise, WILLY CARDIAC has been bubbling globally and the attention the Pretoria native is receiving represents the seeming shift from underground darling to mainstream colossus.
With the ethos of his music stemming from the sense that his generation goes unheard, Willy Cardiac is on a mission to represent the views of his peers. This comes through in his punk aesthetic and unrelenting Trap flows. Described as the ‘voice of the youth,’ the rapper’s journey has been non-traditional, to say the least.
“All That I Want” tells the simple story of finding somebody that you truly can see spending the rest of your life with. Sometimes life can be a lot of fun sharing it with somebody else and that was the message I wanted to get across with this track.

“After some years of activity in styling, fashion design, photography and illustration, I finally decided to embrace music. Being inspired by a lifelong passion for music and by other musicians that I worked with, I decided to become a vocalist and music producer.
I am happy to present my second single “Entrance” that was released two days ago, where I explore new territories and sonic directions. I think the main influences here are house and pop music, while the lyrics are inspired from zen culture. For me the process of music production in an ethereal journey of self discovery.”
“Hollow” describes the feelings of emptiness that come with someone you love stepping out of your life. Featuring the powerfully delicate vocals of Annie Dingwall, “Hollow” is sure to leave shivers down your spine.

“sweet bedroom pop-songs” – The FADER
Seattle, Washington based trio CYCLES OF THE DAMNED successfully create a visceral experience sewn into intensely heavy and dark music. Showcasing a life experience in today’s world with malicious guitar onslaughts, hypnotic primeval rhythms, and despondently somber interludes, CYCLES OF THE DAMNED create the necessary chaos to violently break through the human subtopia of mediocrity into a new world with fresh, open eyes.
Members Dave Krone (Guitars/Vocals), Mike Lee (Bass/Vocals), and Keith Greer (Percussion) evolved past their original formation as Black Bone Exorcism, leaping forth from those years of musical craft and now rise to a higher level of heavy music.

CONFESSIONS OF A TRAITOR Release New Single & Official Video For ‘Twelve’
Heavy melodic London metallers Confessions Of A Traitor have released new track Twelve with an Anchorman inspired music video.
Twelve directly addresses how we are molded by negative behaviours, and in order to move forward we must shed the dead weight; ultimately having a brief moment of clarity where we see and feel what it would be like if our self destructive nature wasn’t holding us back. The fun light-hearted Anchorman style video that accompanies the track sees the band fighting and overcoming their demons in the literal sense.
Produced by Raf Riley (Avelino, Etta Bond) ‘Your Way’ effortlessly blends XNilo’s raw, distinctive style with Bond’s honeyed vocal over an addictive, sparse synth-led production. The track relates to miscommunication in a relationship and not being sure of where you stand with the significant other. Etta Bond has received accolades from top media including Vice, i-D, The Line Of Best Fit, Hunger TV, The 405, CLASH, Notion, Complex and more.
