Papi K is an upcoming Hip-hop and R&B artist from Columbus Ohio. Only being in the game for two years he’s performed at concerts around the nation, played on major city radios, and secured a feature with Waka Flocka Flame. His versatility and style makes him stand out on any song he is featured on: from his relatable yet catchy lyrics that resonate and appeal to people of all ages, to his fluid changes in flow that keeps listeners attentive throughout the duration of each song.
Papi K signed with Wussgoodie Records – an independent label that he and his close friends started in March 2019. He is also a co-host on the “Wussgoodie Show” & “The Boom” podcasts, available only on the Muzo Radio website. Lastly, Papi K writes, records, mixes, and masters all of his songs and is available on every streaming platform.
The video concept of “JUJU” was inspired by a recent turn of events with Papi K’s old label. The character in the opening scenes represents Papi K’s old manager who repeatedly made moves without compensating Papi for the prior ones. In turn, Papi K and his friends sneak into the studio at night to take back the money that’s rightfully theirs. The next day they spend their money on lavish activities around the city of Columbus with the video closing showing the manager discovering the remnants of the heist.
