Underground Hip Hop Artist Teez Drops Breezy New Single “Murda”!

Teez says,”Murda was mostly a freestyle record, my first verse took me on a feel like riding around with someone solid by your side. Bonnie and Clyde was too cliche so I compared the song to Nipsey Hussle & Lauren London. Then just vibed off my first verse for the second and third verse, kept it creative and made a story out of it. This song would be one of the highlighted records for me. We took an island feel, fused it with reggae, trap drums and a hip hop beat. It meshed together real well for me.”

Pop Punk/Country crossover Zack Bright releases irresistible new single

Listen to “Empty Threat” the new single from Seattle-based somesurprises

Natasha El-Sergany says about the track:
“What you seek in someone else is often an illusion, an affirmation no one else can give you, an empty threat. This song was originally written with a loop pedal and a drum machine in a practice space with unforgiving stony, echo-y walls. I rode my bike there at night and the ride home listened repeatedly to a phone recording—then just an instrumental seven-minute two-chord drone with a simple burning guitar melody in place of lyrics, that I kept as a wordless chorus. Later it became a meditation on letting go of what you thought you wanted
by saying it out loud.”
