H.A.R.D. Release “Thank God There Are People Like Me”
East Nashville indie punks H.A.R.D. have released “Thank God There Are People Like Me”. It’s a twisted beast of a single; on the one hand a wrecked ode to getting in and out of trouble, on the other hand it’s candid self-reflection. Singer Thomas Sweat is at the most wry and self effacing that we’ve heard him, taking us with him “riding on a day old drunk”. Stealing beers, wrecking cars, ditching drugs, and a healthy dose of regret are in store and are backed throughout by relentless blur of guitars and woozy backing vocals.
Singer songwriter Ed Tattersall has unveiled the first music from his upcoming debut album – a 2 track digital single comprising of original track ‘Never Believe’ along with a cover of the Gorillaz hit single ‘Clint Eastwood’.
Slovenian DJ and producer UMEK has released Ravaged, his third EP of 2019, on his own 1605 label, out 19th July 2019.
Punctual continue their assault on summer 2019 with the second in a string of singles. Anything (For Your Love) is another uplifting house banger with soaring vocals and triumphant keys that’s about as life-affirming as music gets.
“This singer brings classical precision and raw emotion to celestial pop.” – GQ
“In the next few months, you won’t be able to go anywhere without hearing Freya Ridings.” – W Magazine
The Rocket Summer’s “mastermind (Billboard),” multi-instrumentalist, producer, songwriter, and performer, Bryce Avary, shares his new single, “Blankets,” today. The track is the fourth single from the upcoming, new album, Sweet Shivers, due out in two weeks, on August 2, 2019.
London-based singer-songwriter Just Charlii has launched her sultry new single ‘Do You Right’, out on Friday 19th July.
An alluring slice of modern R&B, ‘Do You Right’ sees Just Charlii’s smooth vocals take centre stage amidst a flurry of mutated vocal samples, twitchy snares and sparse drums.
“I knew immediately that this was a special record when I wrote my first verse instantaneously in front of my wife while she was in the room,” said MAX. “The song just came together so quickly and naturally when my partner Ryan, from Party Pupils, sent me this idea that he, Alexander Lewis, and Felly worked on together. The beat and the bass just blew me away from the start. It’s definitely one of the most soulful tracks off the album.”
