As Richmond, Virginia-based hardcore punk quartet BLEACH EVERYTHING prepares to issue their debut LP, So We Gnaw, through Dark Operative next week, Cvlt Nation is hosting the premiere of the album’s “Shears,” through a horror-themed video for the track.

With their traditional arrangement of cello, mandolin, guitar and banjo, the four-piece look to continue their upbeat bluegrass heritage on this bright and vibrant return. With its distinct country influences, mixed with classic blues and soul throughout, ‘Diamond Ring’ is one of the band’s more uplifting and engaging cuts from their forthcoming release. Telling the story of William, a would-be groom robbed of his engagement offering; this new track channels the group’s compelling storytelling through the guise of foot-stomping chords and hip-shaking rhythm.

Makeunder’s debut LP “Pale Cicada” out now via Good Eye Records

The album was preceded by singles “In Between My Dead-End Jobs” and “Promethean Heat” which debuted via Consequence of Sound and the Talkhouse respectively, with a track breakdown by Makeunder’s Hamilton Ulmer on the former and an essay by Nate Brenner of Tune-Yards and Naytronix on the latter.

The bass and drums were recorded by Dominic Nastasi at Vudu Studios, the guitars recorded by Siddhu Anandalingam at Si Doux Studios, and the vocals recorded by Emmett Ceglia at Dental Records HQ. The record was mixed by Ceglia at Dental Records HQ, mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music, and completed with artwork by Ceglia.
