Following the announcement last week of their forthcoming debut album, Mac Powell and the Family Reunion released today the video for their new single and title track “Back Again.” Capturing the group’s dynamic live show, the country rock travelogue features clips of life on the road over the past few months as Powell and the band unveiled their new project.

TJ Patrick releases new single ‘Adelina’

Recorded in the Dandenong Ranges with Ben Edgar (Passenger, Angus and Julia Stone) Adelina uses driving rhythms and lapsteel guitars to paint a vast landscape inspired by 1970s California rock and Americana. Lyrically, the song speaks of having a deep empathy for someone that has just broken your heart. Someone who because of their abusive past relationships can’t seem to find the comfort and trust they need to sustain a new relationship.

Record-shattering artist Lil Nas X has released his debut 7 EP today via Columbia Records. The EP features 6 brand new songs, including “Rodeo” ft. Cardi B, alongside his global 8x Platinum No. 1 hit “Old Town Road” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus. “Panini” and “Rodeo” were both produced by Take A Daytrip, while “F9mily” received production from Travis Barker. Nas worked with Boi-1da on “Closure,” Ryan Tedder on “Bring You Down,” and Bizness Boi on “Kick It.” See full track list below.

Gauche examine exposure on new song “Flash” and its music video

Today, DC’s Gauche debut the music video for “Flash,” the opening track and third single from their forthcoming album, A People’s History of Gauche, out July 12. Drummer Daniele Yandel (also of Priests) takes lead vocals and examines those moments when representation fails, when those abstractions we rely on to communicate obscure something vital. “Flash” is another prime example of how the band tackles such weighty topics as anxiety (“Running”) and capitalism (“Pay Day”) in a way that is equal parts cathartic and conversational, and uniquely Gauche. The 405 premiered the song, calling it “undeniably kinetic” and we agree!

Working in finance, Hyphen was lacking his sense of purpose. He started writing down raps and poems and his new found love of rap music helped him deal with depression and found his new direction in life.

Kyle Craft & Showboat Honey share official video for “Deathwish Blue”

Craft had this to say of the visual, “I can’t dance and my fiancée Lydia isn’t the biggest fan of it either…we’d actually never danced together before the shoot. We wanted to have fun and aim for a Pulp Fiction vibe. So, I just slicked back the mop, cranked Spirit in the Sky over the bar speakers, and we went for it.”
