TJ Patrick releases new single ‘Adelina’

Recorded in the Dandenong Ranges with Ben Edgar (Passenger, Angus and Julia Stone) Adelina uses driving rhythms and lapsteel guitars to paint a vast landscape inspired by 1970s California rock and Americana. Lyrically, the song speaks of having a deep empathy for someone that has just broken your heart. Someone who because of their abusive past relationships can’t seem to find the comfort and trust they need to sustain a new relationship.

Gauche examine exposure on new song “Flash” and its music video

Drummer Daniele Yandel (also of Priests) takes lead vocals and examines those moments when representation fails, when those abstractions we rely on to communicate obscure something vital. “Flash” is another prime example of how the band tackles such weighty topics as anxiety (“Running”) and capitalism (“Pay Day”) in a way that is equal parts cathartic and conversational, and uniquely Gauche. The 405 premiered the song, calling it “undeniably kinetic” and we agree!
