CYN Premieres Official Video For ‘Holy Roller’
Today, CYN unveils the official video for “Holy Roller.” The Ally Pankiw-directedvideo sees CYN leading her devoted followers in a series of rituals against the backdrop of a retro-50s-inspired bowling alley. The video premiered on V Magazine, who championed the song for bringing “an unexpected grit to her tender persona.” Talking about the video, CYN explains “The video for ‘Holy Roller’ is truly a collaboration of all involved resulting in our version of a girl cult with a side of wink,” she continues. “This video is meant to provoke some thought and definitely meant to make you smile! When I wrote the song, I was trying to relax and not take myself too seriously— the same goes for the video. I was aiming for something true to me, and this video hints at how I was raised and what I believe now.”

Lxandra is a fresh-faced 21-year-old living in Berlin with a record deal under her belt. Her passion for singing started from a young age, and her visit to Finnish producer Perttu Kurttila in Berlin in early 2015 was a turning point in her life.

Country artist David Adam Byrnes, whose single “Beer Bucket List” went #1 on the Texas Music Charts in March, has been awarded a $24,000 judgement against independent label Silverado Records, Inc.
“The present legal dispute arose primarily over the course of last year when my manager and I began to voice concerns to the label about my music and things that we believed the label should and shouldn’t be doing,” said Byrnes.

The Ballad of Jethro Tull is the hotly anticipated official illustrated history of the legendary prog rock band, due for publication by Rocket 88 Books in November 2019.
Today, Ian Anderson announced two new recordings have been created especially for the project. The first, ‘The Ballad of Jethro Tull’ is a narrative poem written and read by Ian Anderson over a unique and original mix of classic Tull music, produced by Anderson himself – and named after the title of the book. The b-side is Ian reading Walter Scott’s 1808 poem, ‘Marmion’ with musical backing composed for the recording and played by John O’Hara (current Tull keyboard player) on a cathedral organ.

But Vola Tila is a completely different beast. Formed in 2018, the project became the pairs main focus, allowing them to create the music they craved to make as well as being an escape from the algorithm-driven pop music they’ve been involved in writing and producing for several years. Their new track “Turn Back Time” arrives as the second instalment of Vola Tila’s debut EP “Personality Apocalypse”. The E.P was recorded in collaboration with Sonic Boom (MGMT, Panda Bear, Spacemen 3) and Stockholm producer Charlie Storm.
