GIA is back with another hit track and accompanying visuals for “Rather Be”. The billboard charting artist has hit the Dance & Electronic Billboard charts numerous times and most recently peaked at #1 with her feature on “One Night” and peaked at #2 for her own hit single “World”. Now Gia is looking to grab that number one slot again with her latest
“Rather Be”.

The video was shot in the breathtaking Bonneville Salt Flats in Tooele County, of northwestern Utah. Choreographed by Charity and Andres, both finalists from the hit show World of Dance, the message of the song is expressed through their contemporary dance. Gia takes inspiration from her own life experiences to convey her message into her music. After learning her past love was a proverbial snake, Gia learned that she would much “Rather Be” alone for the right reasons than to settle for someone for someone who fills her heart with doubt. She was strong enough to let go and wise enough to wait for what what she deserved, which in time, did come.
