A distinct yet logical progression from Matthew Garrod’s folk-pop debut, ‘Bad Memory Blaze’, ‘Canyons’ is an altogether deeper and more dynamic proposition. As soon as the intro track ‘Lonely Ghost’ fades in, with all its glimmering ambience, an audio journey begins that oscillates between upbeat indie, slick synth pop and tracks consisting of little more than a simple upright piano and string accompaniment. One constant throughout ‘Canyons’, however, is Garrod’s mature, provocative and intricately cynical songwriting, characterising a singer who’s affirmatively found his groove.

Dean Lewis Announces North American Fall Tour
Multi-platinum selling artist Dean Lewis returns to the US and Canada this fall for his second North American tour. Having sold out shows on his first U.S trek earlier this year, and around the globe since the release of his celebrated debut album, A Place We Knew, the 21-city tour will kick off in Minneapolis, MN on August 6th. The tour will include festival performances in August, continuing on to headlining shows at marquee venues including the House of Blues in Boston, The Wiltern in Los Angeles, and the newly re-opened Webster Hall in New York.
