Jamestown Revival’s “Round Prairie Road” premieres at the Austin American-Statesman

Additionally, band member Jonathan Clay shares, “‘Round Prairie Road’ is about a piece of land out in the country that has been in my family since the 70’s. In fact, it’s the place where Zach and I conceived the idea to start Jamestown Revival and where we wrote our first song for the band. As we spent the next 10 years of our life touring, a lot of things changed with the land. Oil companies came to exploit their mineral rights, fences went up and it felt like too many people had a key to the lock on that gate. It was our sacred little piece of paradise, but there was not a way to keep it unchanged – no matter how much we loved that place.”

DIVELINER SHARES HEARTFELT NEW SONG “NATALIE”

Since his debut single on soundcloud as a San Fernando Valley high schooler, Diveliner has been an enigmatic figure both on the internet and in the music industry. From 2014 through 2018 not much was known to the public about diveliner. All of his music was released exclusively on soundcloud with months and sometimes years spanning between his releases and his social media tended to follow the same pattern. With each single release he would reappear on instagram with dreamy images of himself or photos he had taken on his iPhone juxtaposed by hysterically unruly and inappropriate tweets. After making a splash on social media and soundcloud following each release, diveliner would breathe in his blossoming fanbase and retreat back to his home studio in Crenshaw to continue developing his sound. His fans balanced a strong demand for more content with a firm understanding of diveliner’s process: Although his release schedule wouldn’t adhere to the modern day news cycle, his sonic growth and vision with each new release was powerful enough to wipe away the wait for it. More and more people began asking “what’s next for diveliner?”, and editorials such as Noisey began to ask “Who is Diveliner?” In 2018 all of our questions began to get answered after a major label bidding war resulted in him signing at Def Jam Recordings and catapulting him into the public eye.

LAMB Release The Secret of Letting Go – Out TODAY on Cooking Vinyl

The Secret of Letting Go is all about the space between sounds. From album opener “Phosphorus'” minimalist harmonics to the dying choral embers of “One Hand Clapping”; through the snaking sub-bass drops that drive the title track and “Moonshine”, into the whirl and spin of “Deep Delirium” and the simple piano loops that help “Imperial Measures” float above you, there’s space everywhere. Sometimes it’s evocative of sun-drenched horizons, at others it is contemplative, reflective; occasionally the space is itchy and anticipatory, pointing towards moments of ecstatic abandon. Throughout the record though, it’s the space that allows Lou Rhodes’ superlunary voice to glide and soar gloriously to bridge the silences in-between. It’s all of this together that makes The Secret of Letting Go such an utterly compelling return to form.

CLASS PHOTO Releases the Indie Pop Gem “Hard Conversation”

Some of the best pop songs are born out of tragedy. For Patrick Morris of CLASS PHOTO, his latest single “HARD CONVERSATION” is a bouncy indie-pop song that tackles the devastating tragedy of the loss of a parent. Worthy to perch alongside the best tracks of Luna, early Weezer, and Imperial Teen, “Hard Conversation” (release date: Friday, April 26, 2019 via Norway’s 9AM Records) is replete with jangly acoustic guitar, handclaps and breezy harmonies. But nestled deep inside the lyrics is a longing and outreach for understanding.
