Crag Mask premieres new single “Stainer”
Vundabar side project Today post-grunge band Crag Mask share their first single “Stainer” off their upcoming LP Bend, due out July 12th, 2019. Vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter Zack Abramo’s twisted sense of songcraft and melody is on full display, complete with a slyly catchy intro that devolves into a foreboding doom riff just long enough to unsettle the unsuspecting listener. They deliver a compact dirge that makes good on the promise of their debut.
I, the Mountain is excited to share a brand new summer anthem ‘The Boat’
Inspired by Alistair MacLeod’s classic short story of the same name, our song “The Boat” is embedded with East Coast sound and imagery. In its earlier form, the song told the tale of a poor family subsisting in a rural Atlantic fishing town, but, with the help of Simon Ward, lead singer of The Strumbellas, it became an anthem of hope, persistence, and empowerment.
Introducing Esther Rose
“I’m always changing,” Esther Rose sings at the top of her sophomore album, You Made It This Far. The line is at once a promise and a plea, a concise distillation of her commitment to evolution as well as her dogged determination to meet every challenge in her path with unconditional acceptance. Laid-back yet deliberate, her delivery here marries old-school country and rural folk with a plainspoken philosophy that’s thoroughly modern, and the end result is a record that’s as joyful as it is restless, one that weaves fiddle and lap steel around profound revelations, late night conversations, and all the moments in between.

SPENCER SUTHERLAND PREMIERES NEW MUSIC VIDEO FOR “WALLPAPER”
“Wallpaper” appears on Spencer’s debut EP, NONE of this has been about you, which was released last month via BMG. The five-track effort is an introspective journey that spotlights his signature tone and falsetto, reminiscent of the 60s with stripped-down 80s-inspired production. Listeners can hear traces of his major influences on the record, ranging from Marvin Gaye and Bruno Mars, to Prince, Elvis, and The Temptations. Spencer’s honest and relatable approach to lyrics, in tandem with his powerful live performances, culminate in what is being lauded as a fresh new sound in pop.
Donald Glover and adidas Originals officially launch Donald Glover Presents
Donald Glover Presents reimagines three classic adidas styles, the Nizza, the Continental 80, and the Lacombe, in subtle, tone-on-tone white canvas. With a focus on the personal narrative that worn-in sneakers can hold, and the wealth of experiences they bear, the collection is inspired by subtle imperfections.
“Rich is a concept,” said Donald Glover. “With this project, I wanted to encourage people to think about how their stories can be told on their feet. Value isn’t quantified by what you wear, rather the experiences from them. And you make the decision on what works for you, you live through your own lens. The partnership for me is about being able to exemplify what doing your own thing truly looks and feels like.”

Patrick Swayze is Hazy dream-pop and Nostalgic
Wobbling synthetic textures held down by the classic Trunky Juno thumping Electric Bass dominate ‘Patrick Swayze’ throughout, building beautifully towards a chorus which bursts from the speakers in a distorted cacophony of euphoric proportions.

Mayday Parade Premieres Music Video for “Never Sure”
“Never Sure” always gave me a feeling of energy and it only seemed appropriate to make a video that not only included us performing live but also included behind the scenes footage of the band being ourselves while on tour. I remember seeing videos on Instagram of Chris’ work (@ChrisBlockd) with Neck Deep, 3OH!3 and Don Broco and I just knew he was the man for the job. It was an honor to work with him and I think he gave the song even more life in the form of a video. Enjoy! – Jake Bundrick

Kuri Single Entitled ‘The Great Orator’
Though he may be a singer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer, Kuri chiefly describes himself as “an observer.” His keen insight and sonic curiosity thread together an intriguing framework of carefully constructed and composed alternative on 2019’s debut album No Village [Nevado Music]. The foundation remains rooted in organic performances, classically infused orchestration, jazzy freeform spirit, cinematic ambition, and ultimately inspired observation. “I like to watch, analyze, and create systems in my brain,” he affirms. “As a solo artist, I enjoy the freedom to express exactly what I want by drawing on what I see.”
