Forever Overhead, the debut album from singer-songwriter Tim Baker, features eleven songs that centre on kinship. His buoyant first single “Dance” was about a longing for connection and feeling close to, but ultimately separated from, love. “All Hands,” his joyous indie-folk single, again explores connections, but is less of a lament than a thank you letter, dedicated to the people who have helped Baker throughout his career, and part nostalgic anthem about his Newfoundland home.

Alex Aiono to Bring His FUN23 Tour to North America This Summer

Earlier this week, pop star Alex Aiono announced that he will be embarking on his FUN23 Tour this summer alongside special guests 4th Ave and AJA 9. The hotly anticipated run will mark his second headlining tour to-date, being preceded by his sold-out winter 2018 North American Feels Like Tour. Having partnered with Mongolian performance artist Canion Shijirbat (Mongolia’s Got Talent, Asia’s Got Talent and America’s Got Talent) for this tour, each show will feature innovative and interactive LED lights to compliment a setlist of Alex’s songs.

Josh Ritter’s new song, “I Still Love You (Now and Then),” produced by Jason Isbell debuts today!

The track will appear on Ritter’s tenth studio album, Fever Breaks, which is set for release on April 26 via Pytheas Recordings/Thirty Tigers. Produced by Grammy Award-winning musician Jason Isbell, the 10-track album was recorded at Nashville’s historic RCA Studio A and features Isbell’s band, the 400 Unit.

Co-produced by Jamestown Revival and Jamie Mefford (Nathaniel Rateliff, Gregory Alan Isakov), the album was recorded at Ward Lodge Studios overlooking the San Isabel National Forest in Buena Vista, Colorado and includes 10 new songs co-written by Clay and Chance as well as a rendition of The Mama & The Papas’ 1965 classic, “California Dreamin’.” In addition to Clay (vocals, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, harmonica, banjo, steel guitar, bass), Chance (vocals, acoustic guitar) and Mefford (juno, acoustic guitar, banjo, background vocals), San Isabel also features Nick Bearden (bass guitar), Ed Benrock (drums, percussion, background vocals), Psyche Dunkhase (cello), John Gringsby (bass), Dan Reckard (wurlitzer, organ, piano, accordion) and Rachel Sliker (violin, viola).

Hornsby says it’s “a song about acceptance and even gratitude in the face of rejection, egolessness, patience and humility.” The single appears on Hornsby’s forthcoming record, Absolute Zero, which is out on April 12.
