Jnr. Williams’ video for “Blue River” premieres! Debut EP out now

The song is from Williams’ debut EP Where We Start, out now on Arista/Insanity Records. The new music has already begun to receive praise with Wonderland Magazine calling the lead track, “A Prayer,” “emotional” and furthering that the song’s visuals are “powerful.” FLOOD Magazine adds, “With nothing but piano for accompaniment, the recording strips the song to its bare bones, leaving Williams’ confident, quivering voice in the foreground.”

Papercuts shares new 3-song EP, on tour now in Europe w/ Steve Gunn

With their recent release Parallel Universe Blues, LA/SF group Papercuts turned-in their most accomplished album to date, with main Papercut Jason Quever’s excellent dream-pop songwriting ideally complemented by the considerable production chops we’ve come to know and love from his work with Beach House, Luna, Cass McCombs and many others. Riding an updated girl group shuffle, new single “Kathleen Says” is a gorgeous slice of updated Spectorian pop that adds a psychedelic edge to the perfect pop melodies. Sitting somewhere between The Rain Parade and The Jesus & Mary Chain, it’s a great reminder of just how strong and deep Parallel Universe Blues is.

Long For The Coast’s soon to be released single, ‘Clarity’ is a deeply personal ‘coming of age’ story, acknowledging the care-free fire of youth and our transition into the complexity of adulthood: relationships, bravery and insecurity – “We dare to speak with dignity; our courage and our doubts”.

03 Greedo Shares Strip Club-Set Vid For Mustard-Produced “Wasted” ft. YG

Alternating melodic flights of fancy with endlessly inventive rhymes, 03 Greedo redefines the sound of Los Angeles hip-hop. Just days after announcing Still Summers In The Projects album, executive produced by L.A. superproducer Mustard, Greedo shared the video for the project’s lead single “Wasted,” featuring an appearance from YG. Premiered last week by Rolling Stone, the single is a titanic banger and a super-charged throwback to the ratchet era. The brand new video dramatizes the “2019 Stripper Olympics,” shining a spotlight on some of Southern California’s finest dancers as they compete. Featuring additional appearances from Shoreline Mafia and Trilliano, Still Summer In The Projects arrives this Spring via Alamo/Interscope.

The Hugs Premiere “Mile High Lady” Video via Too Much Love

If Brit-pop and the Pacific Northwest made sweet, dirty love, you’d get The Hugs. Their angst-ridden, get-up-and-dance sound is cut with a dose of nostalgic indie and garage rock that only comes as a product of slightly off-centered creative types and too many consecutive days of rain.

Speaking directly to fans and friends through his lyrics, Catfish and the Bottlemen’s Van McCann opens up about lies, loyalty and love with new single, 2all, OUT NOW on Island Records. An incisive, bass-driven three minutes of lean songwriting, the track offers another hint of what lies in wait on the arena-filling band’s third album, The Balance, released on Fri 26 April 2019.

Indie rock band Yucca King new album ‘Popcorn but also House Fire’ (Releases April 26)

Yucca King was formed in 2016 in New York City. After years of working through influences ranging from Primus and the Talking Heads to Tom Waits and Radiohead, YK have cemented a sound and ethos of angular, irreverent rock. While their debut album, “The Ghost of Everyone” sounds like a band keen on showcasing all of their influences equally, YK’s second album, “Popcorn, but also House Fire” is focused, direct, and unforgiving. Led by the mania of singer Greg Arent’s lead vocal, the band is at its paranoid peak.
