When you hear the name Palm Springsteen (a name so good that John Mayer recently shouted them out on Instagram) you know exactly what kind of band to expect. A sound reminiscent of The Strokes and LCD but with a sense of humor, Palm Springsteen is filling a void in contemporary music. Following a few choice articles in Purple,Culture Collide and The Last Magazine, and a powerful Echo Park Rising set that may or may not have started a small riot, Palm Springsteen was tapped by Mark Foster to be the main support of Foster the People’s US tour in 2017.
