Gypsy Temple – Pick a Number (OFFICIAL VIDEO)
Song: It’s impossible to escape youthful optimism when listening to Seattle based Gypsy Temple’s debut alt-rock single Pick A Number. The song is simply glorious in the wake of a world gone mad. Gypsy Temple ’s lead song, “Pick a Number,” which is imbued with goal-oriented hope, aims to raise us up and make us believers in true love whether found by fate or chance, as frontman Cameron Miles Lavi-Jones sings at the top of his lungs “I don’t know where I’m going. I’m not lost at all.” Inspired by the spirited honesty of the many alternative rock bands that came before them, including such greats as the White Stripes, Royal Blood, Kings of Leon, Gang of Youths and obvious homage to Seattle’s grunge legacies Pearl Jam, Soundgarden & Nirvana, Gypsy Temple rocks their truth on their first ever commercial release Pick A Number. Pick A Number was produced by Cameron Lavi-Jones, Phillip Peterson and Maurice Jones Jr. and mixed by Cameron Lavi-Jones and Phillip Peterson.

Introducing Rite Hook [ffo: DMX, Lil Peep, Linkin Park]
The new single opens with an MF Doom-esque sample before the first verse explodes, building to the heavy piano in the chorus. Would love to have Skope’s support on this new record and video, let me know if you want the whole thing, and also let me know if you hate it.
“Guns is an arsenal of both sounds, styles and subjects. At its core it’s about things that can be weaponized for good or evil, including ourselves. The words we say, what we fear, how we love, how we live, what we ingest, what we believe in, who we idolize, shit like that. Somewhat a sonic study of the question “do ‘guns’ kill people or do people kill people?” I never start an album the same way but one constant is I try to forget about everything I made before and do something different. Because I’m a fan too and I like hearing new things. I’d say we accomplished that with Guns. My goal with this and all albums is to create pieces people can enjoy, start to finish, for decades to come.” – Quelle Chris
