Tennessee Native Dustin Sellers Announces Release of New Single “Write It On The Wall.”

Dustin Sellers the “reformed alt-rocker with an old-school soul visage” released “Write It On The Wall,” on December 10th, 2018. It follows Sellers’s three full length albums and an EP. In trend with his other work, loss is a continued theme in this single. In this case, it is a lost relationship and an inability to communicate that drives the song.

“I met Octavian at a party in London. We took a photo and I never thought I would see the kid again,” Diplo says. “Over the next six months I kept hearing his name and seeing him on great songs. I tried to stay in touch even though he had another twelve phone numbers since we met. Finally, he was stuck in L.A. for a while and it was easy to pull up on him. After a few weeks we nailed this song and I’m glad it gets to finally see the light of day. Big up to Jim-E Stack for producing this with me.”

Trapdoor Social is a Los Angeles based independent rock band with a mission.

With it’s origins in a college environmental studies program, the band has a record of fundraising and activism to promote sustainability. Starting in 2015 Trapdoor Social branched off from the usual mix of club/radio/college shows and began producing outdoor, solar-powered concerts and events around the US, including Sunstock Solar Festival, which is takes place in Los Angeles annually. Their other projects combining music with activism have benefitted Homeboy Industries, Mesa Ridge High School, and Kids Cancer Connection.
