A.D.K.O.B Release New Single “Chalkline” Via SONY/Wonderlick

A.D.K.O.B is a Sydney-based musical project by multi-instrumentalist & producer Mark Piccles. After forming A.D.K.O.B in 2016, their first single “Lung Capacity” was featured as KEXP’s Song Of The Day and embraced by Sydney tastemaker FBi Radio. The band released their debut EP “A Different Kind of Busy”, with lead single “Glue” earning a high rotation slot on Australia’s triple j and becoming the 9th most played song of the year. “Chalkline” is the first single from the second EP “Nothing Is A Waste Of Time” set for release May 2019 and is a cohesive body of work that explores love, loss, and the cycle in-between. Shape King is the experimental music project of artist Raphael Peterson. It is one of fierce self-reliance, drawing on explorations in music, technology, poetry, and sculpture. Raphael designs and fabricates instruments, electronics, speakers, microphones, and software. He records and performs live with these tools, inhabiting a role that shifts between musician, engineer, and artist. The music combines electronic synthesis, recorded live performance, stock sounds, and meticulously collected field samples to create rich sonic collages that reveal a sharp ear for “high” and “low” styles and revelry in their juxtaposition.
