With a multi-colored afro and a penchant for pointed punchlines, TNT Tez is primed for a big 2019. Showing of his massive personality over slithery minor-key instrumental, TNT Tez struts his stuff on “Go In Pt. 1,” his latest single. Free associating boisterous boasts and threats, Tez annihilates all comers on the single, rocking a bouncy cadence to deliver his acidic, hookless rhymes: “I did all my shit on my motherfucking own/And I’m finna block yo ass, do not call my phone.” Shared on Tez’s SoundCloud, the new single arrives as TNT Tez tours the nation in support of fellow Alamo Records signee Comethazine.

Business of Dreams Release New Single, Album Out February 1

Following on from the lovely “Keep The Blues Away,” Slumberland Records and Business of Dreams are psyched to share another song from their forthcoming album Ripe For Anarchy. “N.R.E.A.M.” is a tune about the fashionable negativity that seems rule the mood and discourse of the day.

Says the song’s writer Corey: “This song was my attempt to write something fun for the album. Of course it had to be the one song focusing on negativity but I think a dose of cynicism is quite healthy these days. Humanity isn’t exactly passing its classes lately so I decided to poke a little fun at the more coarse side of our nature. It’s my version of “Ring-a-round The Rosies.” Ashes, ashes we all fall down! Wee!”

Kuri = Sigur Rós meets Thom Yorke // Melancholy New Visuals

Kuri reveals, “In my life it wasn’t so much about writing my emotions into a song but saying, ‘I responded to these things in this way’. It’s looking into how we try to fill holes in our lives, and how we try to explain and justify those kinds of responses. With this music video we’re definitely playing with those themes. Is the guy madly in love with this woman who seems entirely disengaged? Or is he simply trying to fill his emptiness with something artificial?”

Are Booking Agents Being Replaced by Robots?

From switching on your heating, to self-service checkouts, more and more day-to-day jobs are being replaced or aided by technology. With Sound Finder’s latest feature, a virtual booking agent tool, is this the latest role to be superseded by tech?

Global Sound Group founded the peer-to-peer website, Sound Finder, in late 2018, with an aim to put musicians directly in touch with professional music and sound services around the world. Musicians can contact providers (including sound engineers, graphic designers, video editors, songwriters and more) directly and purchase their services for their latest projects without leaving the site.

The latest feature to be added to the site is the ground breaking virtual booking agent. This new tool will put musicians in direct contact with over 20,000 venues and promoters from all corners of the globe, allowing them to submit their music directly for consideration. This saves artists from having to compile lists of local venues and send out hundreds of emails in hope of landing gigs. It also cuts out the middleman (and fees) for independent artists who are using a booking agent to secure their next gig. Of course, the service could also be used by booking agents themselves as a one-stop shop for all of the connections they need.
