Greg had around 8 bars of this instrumental laid out in a demo, and Charlie took it home and started writing about this crazy, nostalgic, and surreal night he had while visiting his friend at college. Stephan and Mike came in and effortlessly improved on the songs structure and parts. It is one of the fastest songs we’ve ever written with each other, and it quickly became one of our favorites!”

Today, Australian pop singer-songwriter Quinn Lewis debuts “Hanging On” with Billboard. The new single marks his first release since signing with Arista/Small Giant Records. “Hanging On” is accompanied by an official music video directed by Nick Leopold that showcases Quinn caught between fantasy vs. reality. Featuring a swamp-like atmosphere and a ’70s-styled motel room submerged in water, the video quite literally finds Quinn stuck with no way out – which is what the song is all about.

Wisconsin-based artist and producer Julian Lynch began releasing solo music in 2009, and has since recorded five LPs along with an array of EPs, cassettes, and film scores. Julian balances his output of solo material with his pursuit of a joint PhD in anthropology and ethnomusicology, and more recently his role as guitarist in the band Real Estate since 2016. Rat’s Spit, Julian’s latest full length, arrives today, January 18th, 2019 from Underwaters Peoples & Ya Reach Media. A Japanese version will also be released via Plancha Records on CD.

Today, Brooklyn punk band Grim Streaker share their new single “A.D.D.,” the lead track off their forthcoming debut full-length.
