LA Rapper Charles X Releases “Prozac” on HipHopDX

The trap infused banger sees Charles X branch out in a new direction to help showcase his versatility within hip-hop. Thanks to an erratic, bass heavy beat, an off the rails flow similar in vein to rappers such as Vince Staples and J.I.D., and an infectious hook that easily gets stuck in the brain, “Prozac” is an instantly memorable cut that previews what Charles X has in store for his upcoming album EID2, which will be released in 2019.

Curtis Mayz Releases Blazing New Single “Deposit”

The release of the single follows a very strong showing with the October Release of the Curtis Mayz “3 For 3” EP. The title of the EP “3 For 3” itself suggests being perfect on 3 out of 3 songs, similar to a basketball player connecting on each his shots in a game. The EP featured production from AD Creation on Nani Thai. On the standout single, Juise Leroy provides a phenomenal verse and perfect compliment to Curtis Mayz on “Otha Shit”. Curtis Mayz has consistently showcased his versatility, great writing ability and knack for creating vibey music and “3 For 3” epitomizes that sentiment.

theAngelcy – Nodyssey LP

“I always was kind of self-conscious to play my songs to native English speakers, because I don’t have that sensibility, you know. It’s a language, an organism. I’m sure I’m very crude,” says Rotem Bar Or.

Gabe Greenland – ‘Love & Espionage’ LP Premiere

“Love & Espionage is a pulsating, lyrical thrill ride. A high octane cruise through a world where things are not as they appear and trust a dim memory. Loosely threaded to a narrative structure, Love & Espionage evokes an anxious fever dream of extra-terrestrials, nefarious government conspiracies, and the ever elusive human connection that some dare call true love. But how? With beats that pump your adrenaline like a shot to the heart. With lyrics that erase the thin partition between sober reality and paranoid fantasy. Welcome to Love & Espionage.”
