Once Too Many, Twice Not Enough by Cory M. Coons is captivating and entertaining. Sitting effortlessly between traditional country with cross-over potential into Americana, the entire song is soothing yet fun in nature. The leading guitar is reminiscent of an 80’s era electric; the reverb suits the song well.
The percussive drum line is simplistic in nature which is great as it doesn’t detract from the well written lyrics. Even when the harmonies sneak in for a brief moment in the second verse, it’s not distracting. Once Too Many, Twice Not Enough is overall a great hit for everyone.
