Atlantic Records has announced the signing of British band Broken Hands who have gripped U.K. press such as the BBC, NME, and The Independent with their dazzling excursions into space rock, psychedelic garage, and fuzzed out gritty blues.
Sarah And The Safe Word Announce Upcoming EP Release “Red Hot & Holy” Out 10/26
Atlanta gothic pop/rock and roll band Sarah And The Safe Word have announced the upcoming release of their new EP, “Red Hot & Holy,” out on all digital platforms Oct 26. The lead single (and title track) was released on Sept 21, and offers up an ambitious combination of gothicism, dark pop, and hints of gospel. A unique break in the modern rock mold, Sarah And The Safe Word is cinematic, sensual, and simply put, talented. About the EP, member Kienan states:
“Red Hot & Holy is the first Sarah & the Safe Word record to make full use of all 7 of us. We collaborated on a level we never have before, and I think everyone’s individual voice can be heard in each song—sometimes literally, since almost everyone in the band is a singer too. A lot of records can start feeling like the same song over and over, so we tried very hard to make each song its own original, cinematic world.”

Today, Brent Walsh premiered “The Way You Seem” – the second single from his sophomore release Are You Even There at All?. “The Way You Seem” finds Walsh exploring new territory as he delicately balances hip-hop beats and R&B melodies with lyrics focused on the insecurity of falling in love. The track initially took shape conceptually when Walsh found inspiration in a beat that his I the Mighty bandmate, guitarist Ian Pedigo, was creating on his computer. This presented the unique opportunity for these longtime bandmates and friends to collaborate in a new way, and the result is a bold creative direction for Walsh that exemplifies the tremendous range he shows on his latest EP.
