Editors Share Video For “Cold”

Platinum-selling British band Editors today unveil the video for “Cold”, the fourth single taken from their sixth studio album Violence, released in March via Play It Again Sam. The video, directed by celebrated artist Rahi Rezvani, was shot in Iceland and stars US ballet dancer Drew Jacoby. It’s dramatic, yet stark style perfectly compliments one of Violence’s standout moments. The band are currently midway through their UK tour, which culminates in a headline show at O2 Academy Brixton on October 24th. Watch it HERE.

Anne Deming’s new album is out today! [FFO: Terra Lightfoot, Brandy Carlile]

Midwest Singer-Songwriter Anne Deming is back with a new album, and we teamed up with Americana Highways last week to preview Dash & Temper, her latest full length effort. In our opinion, it’s her strongest work yet, channelling Jack White-esque guitars that perfectly complement her powerful vocals. The eddies of feedback and reverb give the track a dark undercurrent that set’s Deming apart from contemporary folk artists.

Luke Top (of Fool’s Gold) shares ‘The Dumb-Show’ EP

Luke Top was born in Tel Aviv, Israel and raised in Los Angeles, CA. He has dedicated the last two decades to recording and performing music. A majority of that time (2008-2015), was spent as the lead singer of Fool’s Gold, a band that has enjoyed international acclaim for their cathartic live shows and seductive experiments in global psychedelia. When Fool’s Gold disbanded, Luke shifted gears musically, going solo with the release of his full length album ‘Suspect Highs’ in 2016. SPIN magazine called the album “a deeply earnest and deeply honest confessional.” The opportunity to play as a touring member of the band Electric Guest presented itself in 2017, so Luke joined up in support their second album, “Plural.” It was during this period that Luke partnered with longtime friend, Jason Quever of Papercuts, to open a recording studio in the Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles. In this space, Luke found the freedom to explore a variety of bold new musical tangents, further refining his unique brand of songwriting and producing.
