COSMO’S MIDNIGHT SHARE VIDEO FOR “TALK TO ME” FEAT. TOVE STYRKE

Today, Australian twin beat-makers Cosmo’s Midnight share the video for their track “Talk To Me” Feat. Tove Styrke which is included on their recently released debut album What Comes Next via Nite High/Sony Music Australia/RCA Records. The video takes place within their Inner West Sydney family home and chronicles Cosmo’s quest to save his forgotten house party plans via a “Talk To Me” service. The guest list features a party crew of a number of Australian stars including Touch Sensitive, Nina Las Vegas, Tyde Levi, Tkay Maidza, UV boi فوقبنفسجي, Young Franco, Asta, FlexMami, Basenji, Ryan Hemsworth, Woodes and Maribelle.

After this past summer’s acclaimed project with The Nextmen, Gentleman’s Dub Club return with the hotly anticipated album, Lost In Space. Rock Eupora Release Indie Rock Anthem “People In My Head”

This song is autobiographical and the initial idea stemmed from a conversation I had with my aunt. She was asking about my job and when I told her about my music project and day job at the restaurant, she started making light of my “music career”. While the tone of the song is comical and at times tongue-in-cheek, it also presents an overall message of encouragement in a sort of punk rock way. It’s an anthem for the creative type if you will.

Mozzy links up with Ty Dolla $ign and YG for the song, “Thugz Mansion” to pay homage to Tupac Shakur on the 22nd anniversary since his untimely death. The trio serves up a visual for the third single off of Mozzy’s long-awaited album, Gangland Landlord. On the song, Ty Dolla $ign holds down the hook as he interpolates the original hook on 2Pac’s “Thugz Mansion” that was initially sung by J. Phoenix. Mozzy holds down the first verse before passing it over to YG. Ty Dolla $ign also holds down the bridge on the song as well.

Velvet Starlings is Christian Gisborne a 15 year-old indie rock singer/songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist. He is known for a powerful 60s era Eric Burdon influenced vocal style combined with a commanding stage presence. Velvet Starling’s unique performance style has invited media and industry insider comparisons to Jack White, Cage The Elephant, Alex Turner and Ty Segal. Grisborne’s early musical influences were The Beatles, The Who, The Doors, The Kinks and the Rolling Stones which is apparent in his music.

Rasputina’s Polly Panic announces new ‘Losing Form’ album (Tori Amos, PJ Harvey, Apocalyptica)

Polly Panic is Jenette Mackie, who wrote and recorded the 10 songs comprising this album in 2016-2017, sandwiching the process around time spent rehearsing and touring both coasts with her cello-driven band Rasputina, founded by Melora Creager and formerly including Zoë Keating and Julia Kent.

Shot in Toronto, the music video for “Last Summer” was directed by Aaron A who has worked with a variety of artists including Nelly Furtado and Alessia Cara. Orlando and his sister Darian worked closely with Aaron A and the entire creative team to develop a unique video treatment and key elements with included inviting fans to be a part of the experience and be a part of the video. The end result is 60 hand-selected fans playing Orlando’s friends and love interest and making memories and a video that will last a lifetime.

The pair were living near one another in Newcastle when the songs took shape. However, the creative journey they shared began years before, where the duo originally performed the songs during a trip to New York. In the intermittent years, neither were in the right head space to release the music. Only now, years later do they feel comfortable sharing their music with the world.
