Hear FADE’s debut EP for Luminelle Recordings via Hype Machine, playing Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right release show on Oct. 10th

As in her preceding project, PARTS, Ferguson finds inspiration in the electronic-leaning sounds of our past, drawing on hypnotic oscillations and polyphonic swells to create the dream pop found on her debut EP. “Almost Had It All,” the first song she wrote after PARTS disbanded, works through the anxieties that come when something you’re passionate about comes to a close.

Hear a new single from Stockholm’s Magic Potion off their sophomore album! Endless Graffiti is out October 26th on PNKSLM Recordings.

With their second record, Magic Potion have something to say. The Stockholm four-piece released their debut full-length, Pink Gum, two years ago. It was the sound of friends enjoying themselves; carefree, melodic guitar lines and bouncy percussion drenched the songs in a summery atmosphere, and it was little surprise that they quickly drew favourable comparisons with American contemporaries – the parallels are flattering, but at the same time, they do a disservice to Magic Potion’s vision and ambition.

The second single from their EP, Rear View Mirror, is a laid back, hazy song evoking the Californian summer that inspired it. Skyfever stay true to their rock roots, though, with singer Luke Lang’s unmistakable vocals giving it that hard edge.
