Today, East Oakland native rapper Young Gully shares a new video for “Bigger Picture,” in an exclusive premiere with HipHopDX. The track is from his new record, Eyes Wide Shut, which dropped last Friday, September 14th. The lead single “Show Me Love” (ft. OMB Peezy) off the album was premiered with HYPEBEAST, writing, “An intensely-personal effort, Eyes Wide Shut is being promoted with an introspective, reflective lead single titled “Show Me Love.”

Playing his first ever solo show in an illegal art space in NYC where he played “Jesus Jazz” to the crowd while covered in fake blood, the French artist fell in love with New York’s underground scene and keeps flying over back and forth for more.

EARMILK shares The Dig’s “banger that takes inspiration from ‘70s soul-pop”

Following a recent move to Los Angeles, CA from Brooklyn, NY, indie-rockers The Dig are rolling out a series of tracks about starting new chapters and making a new life. The newest single from their upcoming Afternoon With Caroline EP, “Don’t Stop Running,” is out today and can be heard now at EARMILK. “Rashid and I got linked up by a friend who thought it would be good for us to work together, especially as I began to branch out into producing more hip hop beats. We first started work on another track (which will be included on Nevermore), but “Knock” didn’t come until a little later. After producing a few tracks for Rashid’s project, I showed him a few Kayobe beats I had – “Knock” really ignited something within him. Rashid immediately started writing verses on it, and we wrote the chorus together. It was a real organic process. I know he was going through some personal journeys that really helped him flow on it, too.” – Kayobe

Idle Bloom are an indie rock four-piece that explores sound texture with cascading guitars, lush harmonies, propelling drums, and a fierce range of emotive sincerity. Founded in 2014, the band consists of guitarist/singer Olivia Scibelli, bassist Katie Banyay, drummer Weston Sparks, and guitarist/singer Gavin Schriver. They were named by Rolling Stone as “an underground Nashville band reclaiming Music City,” and have drawn comparisons to Dinosaur Jr. and Belly.
