New Video: Lloyd Drops Visual For “Excited”

“Having an all around good time to music is a family pastime. Whether we were driving to New Orleans for the summer, hanging out with friends at the skating rink, at the park for a bbq, or out on a date, there was one common denominator. Music. It was the soundtrack to some of my life’s most memorable moments. My hope is that “Excited”, a song inspired by my love for skating, dancing, and live music, will be played during those same memorable moments in the lives of others. So Tie up your skates real tight, grab a partner, and get off the wall!” -Lloyd

Lindsay Clark – Crystalline LP

Lindsay Clark’s new full-length Crystalline is a compendium of quiet moments. And “quiet moments,” perhaps, is also the phrase that most accurately exemplifies the album’s milieu – not just for its stillness and subtlety, a singularly rare folk endeavor that employs rhythmic elements, acoustic guitars in open tunings, and soft-but-potent harmonies that rise in and out in delicate crescendos – but for its creative backdrop; Clark wrote it largely in the quiet moments between a number of momentous life changes.

Holy Golden share the second track and video, Wheel of Fortune, off their upcoming EP

Holy Golden is the multifaceted musical world of Leslie Schott and Andrew Valenti. The two met serendipitously during a lunar eclipse on the island of Martha’s Vineyard when Leslie, an actress visiting from Los Angeles, decided to walk five miles across the island and happened upon the record store where Andrew was working. Andrew wrote down his band’s email address on a business card and gave it to Leslie, suggesting she come to a concert that night. She bought a few CDs and left, assuming she’d probably never see him again, but as the ferry was about to leave the harbor, she ran off the boat and found the concert. Traveling back and forth between Martha’s Vineyard and Los Angeles, the duo began crafting mythological mini-worlds into music, music videos, short films, and photo stories.

TOXIKULL publish new video for the single “Freedom to Kill”

Portuguese speed metallers Toxikull have published a brand new video for the single “Freedom to Kill”, which was taken off from the band’s latest EP, “The Nightraiser”. Their EP was released via Mosher Records and Firecum Records.

The video tells the story of an agressor and two victims trapped in a basement. The aggressor represents the society in which he keeps the common mortals in captivity, and gradually torturing them till death. The other two characters represent the human being in his most fragile condition, dependent on his own construction of “human society.”
At the end, one of the victims escapes and kills the aggressor, or thinks that he did.

New Release from CONRAD SEWELL “CHANGING” On Sony Music Australia

“Changing is a super vulnerable and emotional record for me. I wrote it right in the middle of the relationship I was in when I started to realize that I was ruining it, and that my actions and my addictions were starting to affect her. I would come home and see her crying. She was always upset. She wasn’t the same person that she was when we first started dating. And I felt like it was because of me and the way I was acting. So it was really me apologizing for everything I’ve done. And telling her to never change for anyone because you’re perfect the way you are. Especially don’t change for me because I wasn’t worth it at the time” Conrad Sewell
