Today, Friday September 7th, sees the release of Paul McCartney’s 17th solo album Egypt Station, which critics across the world are already hailing as a stellar addition to his peerless catalogue.

Egypt Station is the first full album of all-new McCartney music since 2013’s international chart-topping NEW. The album was recorded between Los Angeles, London and Sussex, and produced (with the exception of one Ryan Tedder track) by Greg Kurstin (Adele, Beck, Foo Fighters).

Jonathan Franco shares first track “Wine Lips” off his upcoming album out early Nov

Detroit-based musician, Jonathan Franco spent four years writing and recording his debut solo album, Swimming Alone Around the Room. Starting essentially from scratch after discarding his previous recordings, each song was meticulously arranged through obsessive experimentation with manipulating sounds and instruments, as well as gathering field recordings around Detroit and New York. Franco pulls inspiration from indie rock forbearers like Mount Eerie, The Silver Jews, Yo La Tengo, Bedhead, and Sparklehorse and mixes it with influences from composers and sound artists like Haruomi Hosono, Elaine Radigue, Jim O’Rourke, and Yoshi Wada.
