P.O.D. Releasing ‘Circles,’ Tenth Studio Album Out November 16th

On November 16th, 2018, Mascot Label Group will release ‘Circles,’ P.O.D.’s debut for the label. The album is the San Diego band’s first since 2015’s The Awakening, and comes at a time when the group is enjoying a resurgence in popularity. In the last few years, P.O.D. have performed at the Download Festival, Hellfest, Rock on the Range, River City Rockfest, Carolina Rebellion, and Aftershock Festival, as well as shared stages with In This Moment, Prophets of Rage, Shinedown, and Five Finger Death Punch.

Scarves shares “Collapse” via The A.V. Club | New LP out 9/28

The track premiered via The A.V. Club who said Scarves, “capture art-pop excellence.” The band’s Niko Stathakopoulos further detailed, “Dinner Dates For The End Of Days is a pre-apocalyptic record about how despite the fact sinner and saint shall both be cleansed by nuclear hellfire, love is still a worthwhile pursuit.”

SUPER AMERICAN Premiere New Single “Chris From Walmart,” Debut Album Tequila Sunrise Out September 14

Buffalo, NY indie duo SUPER AMERICAN have released their new single “Chris From Walmart” today ahead of the release of their debut album Tequila Sunrise, which will be released next Friday, September 14th via Take This To Heart Records. The track features an energetic and melodic guitar riff that instantly gets stuck in the listener’s head, as well as biting and comedic lyrics in relation to the narrator ending up with a partner that someone they know, the titular Chris From Walmart, was romantically interested in. Like the other tracks on Tequila Sunrise, it perfectly captures the quirky and unique vibe that Super American exudes flawlessly.

Ramengvrl – “WHACHU MEAN” Track Premiere

As one of the only female MC’s in Indonesia, Ramengvrl is diving into uncharted territories. she’s real young too (just graduated college!) which is very unusual. She kinda seems like that “cool girl” who would listen to listen to her Zune near the wall during recess and probably had a chain wallet. She started off not even liking hip-hop until listening to Kanye West, then ventured into Tyler the Creator, Charli XCX and M.I.A. territory where you can see the influences clearly in her music. Kind of pop, kind of rap, totally badass. Ramengvrl is trying to break into new markets, leaving a blazing trail behind her all the way back to Jakarta.

BOSTON MANOR Release Sophomore Album “Welcome To The Neighbourhood”

BOSTON MANOR’s second album Welcome To The Neighbourhood has been released today via Pure Noise Records and is available now on Spotify and iTunes. The second studio album from Boston Manor, Welcome To The Neighbourhood elevates the band from their 2016 album Be Nothing both lyrically and sonically. “I think the time between the last record and this one, we kind of thought we knew who we were,” explains vocalist Henry Cox, “But we’ve realized that even now we’re still figuring that out. Before, we were scared to try stuff, whereas on this record there were no limits. We wanted to push ourselves, instead of being terrified to dip just one little toe in the wrong direction.”
