The Foreword is an acoustic indie-pop duo from Atlanta, GA, consisting of Maggie Schneider and Alex Crain. Heavily influenced by groups like All Time Low, State Champs, and Paramore, as well as musical theatre songwriters Pasek and Paul (Dear Evan Hansen, The Greatest Showman, La La Land), The Foreword offers a fresh sound with stripped back pop rock elements and relatable lyrics for fans of all ages. The duo first began working together during fall of 2016 while both were working on their own projects, Schneider a solo artist and Crain the lead guitarist in The Everyday Anthem. Sharing a passion for songwriting, they worked on a handful of tracks including “Break” which can be found on Schneider’s 2018 debut EP, Tinted Glasses.

Escape-ism shares new video for “Bodysnatcher” from The Lost Record out September 7
Today, Escape-ism shares “Bodysnatcher,” the second film-45 snatched from the upcoming long-player by that beneath-the-underground sin-sation. Only ten months after he provided us with an Introduction to Escape-ism, mythic rock ’n’ roll provocateur / theorist / revolutionary Ian Svenonius is back with The Lost Record, a classic destined to bewitch the minds, hearts, and dancing shoes of any rock ’n’ roll fan who happens to discover it, for as long as such creatures exist.
On their new release “Save Yourself,” The Chainsmokers and NGHTMRE demonstrate the magic that can happen when two prolific artists with radically different sounds bring their A-game to a collaboration. The track delivers NGHTMRE’s signature heavy basslines and stabbing synths along with The Chainsmokers’ high-energy production and penchant for catchy vocals; the result is a masterful exhibit of genre-bending music that’s guaranteed to be on heavy radio and festival rotation this season. “Save Yourself” is out on Sony Music/Disruptor Records, and The Chainsmokers and NGHTMRE couldn’t be more stoked to officially share it with their fans. “Tyler (NGHTMRE) has been a good friend of ours for some time and we always talked about how great it would be to work together on a song. We have always been a huge fan of his style of producing and thought that if we came together on a song we could make something really unique and badass, and the idea of making something really gnarly was very appealing. We come from the dance world, those are our roots and we are really excited to release a song that is deeply rooted in that with NGHTMRE. We think our fans will be really excited about this one!” – say The Chainsmokers.
New > Ash Koosha > shares video for “Return 0” directed by Isabella Winthrop
In the past few years, Ash Koosha has been in the forefront of many innovative projects: He realised the first fully immersive VR music album where he made sound and object inseparable and indistinguishable. He crossed physical borders by performing live in VR to an audience in the US when he was refused an entry visa. He created music that was alien, material and yet grounded in timeless classic aesthetics. Yet one of the most interesting aspects of Ash’s creations were the story they tell. Stories deeply personal and yet universal: the relationship of man to himself, to the idea of himself, to machine, to future, to information.
Harp Samuels Announces Single “Away”
The new ambient folktronica single, “Away” from Melbourne singer songwriter Harp Samuels vulnerably depicts a new reality in the aftermath of losing a loved one. He captures the haze and strangeness of his father’s death and translates that into a whispering electronic ache that flows and floats about a distant, dark space. “Away” is the third single off of his upcoming album, Breathe, due out September 14.
