Fabp aka Fabpz the Freelancer, is an example of an artist who can do it all. Rap, write and produce his own slamming beats, a true rarity in hip hop, and a throwback to the music’s roots. @skopemag: What is the most current project that you are working on at the moment?
The most current project i’m working on is a Album titled ” Tha Internet Sensation”.

@skopemag: When you began your journey in music were your family/friends supportive?
When i started my journey in music many years ago my family and friend was very supportive of me its like they knew it was for me..
@skopemag: What is it about music that you knew this was more important than all other artistic endeavors?
As a kid growing up i use to do my homework and studies with the music bumping also when me and my boys was in the Schools lunchroom we would beatbox and use the table like we was using a Drum machine so pretty much thats when i knew it was more important.
@skopemag: Would you say that your family/friends suppport your music journey?
My sisters kids for example they would ask me when I’m going to do a music video or they would ask me for a business card or even ask me if they can get on the mic with me things like this is supportive and it motivates me.
@skopemag: What do you think makes some artist/bands resonate with the masses when others do not?
Ok this is what i think if a artist lyrical content does not speaks negatively about peoples race, gender or religious beliefs it will make them resonate with the masses period.
@skopemag: What other bands/artists do you respect & inspire you?
Growing up i was inspired by Lady Saw, Shabba Ranks, Yellowman, MC Lyte, LL Cool J. Salt -N- Pepa , Busta Rhymes, Mobb Deep, Master P. and more too much to mention at this time.
@skopemag: When you are not doing music what else do you enjoy?
When i’m not creating music i enjoy doing the business side of things like the paper works and stuff.
@skopemag: How do you test whether your new song is a keeper or not?
Whenever i record a song its a keeper i don’t believe in throwing away my recordings everyone of them is a vibes, a feeling, a artistic expression.
@skopemag: How much time per week do you devote to music & social media marketing?
The time I devote to music and social media marketing is pretty much 24/7 from i wake up to when i go to sleep.
@skopemag: Should I feel guilt as an industry insider for paying $10 a month for Amazon Music Unlimited and having access to all music as I please?
Good question but its what ever works for you, i’m a big fan of Amazon music i use it everyday also its better and safer to pay the $10 a month than to steal the recording.
@skopemag: What kind of environment & mood do you feel most creative towards your music?
I like having the studio are the Crib to myself when I’m recording i find it to be more creative no distractions i even turn the phones off :-).
@skopemag: When are you most inspired to create music?
I’m mostly inspired to create music everyday like first thing in the morning.
