Damian Abraham) and Joyce Tops that invites David even further down the rabbit hole. Hold on tight:

The Kooks New Track “Chicken Bone” Out Today

“Chicken Bone,” a raucous, ‘Exile-era’ Rolling Stones meets early Oasis slice of indie pop, touches on many of Let’s Go Sunshine’scentral themes. The lyrics paint a picture of urban disillusionment and highlight the mental pressures of city life, while the moreish, head-nodding chorus and its refrain “I just can’t get enough” show the other, seductive side of the coin. With a riff and chorus that manages to take you back to The Kinks via Blur and Oasis, while retaining that inimitable Kooks sound, “Chicken Bone” sees The Kooksat their catchy best and provides further evidence that Let’s Go Sunshine could be their finest piece of work to date.

Squid Cult “Angelpuke” Video

Quote from the band – ‘Angelpuke’ is the true story of how we burned down Hoagy Carmichael’s house. We did it so that his ghost would haunt our music. We like jazz music. Our friend Jonathan Weber plays Hoagy who was, as we all remember, a junkie space narwhal. The piano outro is a nod to his classic, ‘Stardust.’ The inimitable vis-wiz Vsev Krawczeniuk spent hundreds of man hours on this psychedelic space-experience. So if you see him on the street, give him a firm hankshake and a ‘thank you.’ I know we will.
