GRIDFAILURE Releases Powerdementia EP Via Free Bandcamp Download

New York noise outfit GRIDFAILURE has issued a new EP, Powerdementia, for free Bandcamp download.

With a plethora of new collaborations and albums currently being completed, GRIDFAILURE has expulsed a new EP to fill the void. Delivering a bruising ten tracks in approximately thirty minutes, Powerdementia births strange and scathing noise, found-sounds and field recordings, and harsh industrialized tones. Grinding dissonance meets ultra-distorted percussion, and layers of vocals punch through. GRIDFAILURE’s maker David Brenner uses guitars, bass, drums, keys, cases of effects pedals, nature, garbage, incineration, and more to embody the “powerdementia” descriptor in a gross display of cross-dystopian subhuman scourge, societal collapse, and generally defective auditory output.

Foreign Architects drop video for ‘High Street’; Coasters and Caravans EP Launch August 9

After a steady but rewarding build from singles Talk To A Scientist and Saw Myself, along with hitting the live circuit hard over the last six months, the release of Foreign Architects’ new EP Coasters and Caravans marks a definitive chapter in the Perth band’s unfolding story.

Fittingly titled, Coasters and Caravans reflects the London setting in which vocalist Matt Burke wrote the lion’s share of lyrics in the corners of pubs over relatively warm pints, while the remainder of the EP was penned in a caravan in Gracetown, a small town in WA’s South West. Expertly recorded by Dylan Olivierre (The Money War) and mixed by Andy Lawson (Tired Lion, Gyroscope), the eventual sessions in Perth have captured the perfect balance between the delicate tones of the band and the power of their live sound.

Color + Thunder – The Wild single + music video

Layers of fuzz. Silky vocals. Vaguely industrial but utterly monstrous drum sounds. The Wild, by L.A.-based heavy-pop band Color + Thunder absolutely rips its way through a series of unpredictable twists that play out in fields of staticky dissonance. It’s the sum of countless ever-moving parts, vying rhythmically for the listener’s attention, but coming together to form something violent and gigantic.

His prior release “ARTIFACTS”, has been a very successful independent album which mounts anticipation for his upcoming project, “Root of Evil (EP)”. Miranda Writes to release “Time to Time” August 3rd, 2018

There is no denying that the world is in dire need of greater togetherness, love, and a lot more fun. For Hip Hop artist Miranda Writes, being able to inspire her listeners through her upbeat, playful tracks is what making music is all about.

“Time to Time is about the freedom and peace I find when I’m creating music. Music is my refuge and there’s nothing in this world that makes my soul feel better than the vibes I feel when I’m writing or on the mic.” Beginning first with poetry at 16, Miranda transitioned to songwriting just one year later, when she discovered her uncanny ability to flip her verses over beats.
