New Zealand-based atmospheric metal ensemble SPOOK THE HORSES today debuts the visual accompaniment to “Following Trails.” Now playing courtesy of New Noise Magazine, the hymn comes by way of the band’s People Used To Live Here full-length released last year via Pelagic Records.

Issues the band, “The video is based upon a recollection of a dream, filmed within the house that the record People Used To Live Here was originally written, and is intended as both a literal and metaphorical reflection on ideas relating to the subjective limits of self, perspicacity, and self-determinism.”

Gisselle has teamed up once again with director Jonny Diaz to bring this song to life through it’s music video. Diaz directed Gisselle’s previous video for Bang Bang. Just like the production of Get Back to Love, the video features minimal yet striking visuals as we start in black and white and end in bright contrasting color. A hopeful ending that mimics the sentiment of the song. The intimate nature of the video is also a nod to the “self love” theme.

The Portland, OR-based Children’s Cancer Association (CCA) is launching a digital extension of its flagship “music medicine” program, MyMusicRx, which delivers the healing power of music to kids and teens facing cancer or other serious illnesses. The second track to be taken from the album, Charm School – first played on Annie Mac’s Radio 1 Show – is, according to the band, “An observation on having to mind your p’s and q’s all the time – and the need to jump through hoops for other people.
