Glassnote Records in association with UROK Management presents Somewhere American—the new mini-documentary from rising singer and songwriter Jade Bird. The Austin Roa-directed (Robert DeLong, Oberhofer) documentary follows Jade on tour from Austin, TX to Indio, California this past April, supporting her 2017 debut EP Something American. The footage takes a look behind the scenes and shines a light on Jade’s personality, while showcasing live performances and life on the road.
Of the film, Jade explains “Usually the hardest part of a journey is the beginning, but I have felt so lucky to meet so many people on this trip, who love music just as much as I do. Thanks to Austin Roa, you guys can join me in my fits of accents, new discoveries and of course hilarious put-together-in-the-dark outfit decisions. Here’s Somewhere American—the video diary.” Watch here: http://smarturl.it/ SomewhereAmerican.
