Exlibris release new lyric video for “Shoot For The Sun”

Polish/Finnish melodic metallers Exlibris release a second video from their new album “Innertia”.

“We like to do things differently so this time we asked our artist friends to be a part of the video and left the details up to them. Watching the results was a lot of fun! Too bad we couldn’t include everything in a 3-minute video. Maybe we should’ve chosen a longer song…” – says keyboardist Piotr Sikora.

Mothers sign to ANTI- Records and share new single ‘Blame Kit’

Mothers attempt to exist in two places at once – both singular and collaborative, sprawling and concise, present and distant. Kristine Leschper, songwriter and founding member of the project, says that it is in the space between opposites that she finds herself. The multifaceted is, by nature, fragmented – each facet reflecting a slightly different perspective of the whole.

AKIVA share genius animated video for intoxicating new release ‘Ammunition’

“This track drives at the heart of the decision makers in positions of power, who take lethal decisions with little care of the consequences. Arms deals, corruption, dictators and Orwellian never-ending wars of propaganda stoked the fires for ‘Ammunition’.”

SLANDER and American Idol’s Juliana Chahayed Team Up for New Track “So Long”. Out now on Monstecat

Seemingly ever extending an impressive run of memorable singles to soundtrack 2018, SLANDER return today with their latest, “So Long”, a see-ya-never anthem penned with American Idol finalist Juliana Chahayed. Initially emerging as a shy day-dreamy headphone jam, the tune quickly gains confidence, propelled by a driving backbeat that lifts off to a bursting full bloomed realization, revealing itself as a bouncy tropical tinged summer jam of self empowerment. Opting to eschew the harder sides of their sound for a skillful touch that perfectly compliments the “catch flights, not feels” sentiment of Chahayed’s lyrics, SLANDER instead showcase the power of restraint, with infectious end results that land squarely on the target of infinite replayability. Good luck with your future ex, because they’re blasting this one with the top down till they can’t even remember your name. “So Long” is out now on Monstercat.

Mark Lanegan & Duke Garwood Share New Track “With Animals”

Of the track Lanegan says: “The record was recorded in my house by Duke alone and my five Animals to keep him company. If someone were to listen closely with headphones they might hear a bark, meow, growl or whine embedded in the music. Hence the title of the song and album.”

New Video From Son Of William

Though their name would suggest otherwise, the link between Hayley and Ben Williams is nothing but musical. Son of William is a collaboration between Hayley and Ben which seems to have been lifted straight from a film script. Having forged individually hugely successful solo careers, they found themselves as tutors to each other – Hayley guiding Ben through singing lessons; Ben teaching Hayley guitar. The common ground they found is where Son of William find themselves today, already one of the hottest live acts in their resident Manchester – with the almost Chris Montez lounge of Ben’s vocals wrapped around Hayley’s Stevie Nicks-like shimmer, delivering an experience which rivals Civil Wars and Iron and Wine.

LIINKS Release New Single “500 Roses” Off Upcoming Album, Single Out Today Via Westwood Recordings

The story of Victoria duo LIINKS, and how the pair came to be, is littered with chance encounters and seemingly random events that make the duo seem almost pre-destined for stardom. After linking up and creating a song, they were notified by a Korean lawyer that their track had been stolen and released by Korean pop star Hyori Li and gone #1 across Korea. After settling out of court, the pair decided to make their partnership official and thus, LIINKS was born. Comprised of Georgia Murray and Tony Day aka “DWHIZ,” the pair have collaborated with Bob Ezrin of Pink Floyd and KISS, RL Grime, Travis Barker, Datsik, Ephwurd, The Funk Hunters, and more. Their collaboration with The Funk Hunters is what eventually led to LIINKS being signed to label Westwood Recordings, where today they are releasing brand new single “500 Roses” off their forthcoming album.

GRAVEDGR Channels Famous Outlaw in New Track “JESSE JAMES” on Carnage’s Heavyweight Records

Following the release of his popular track “RAMPAGE,” GRAVEDGR continues his sonic destruction with “JESSE JAMES,” out on Carnage’s Heavyweight Records. Appropriately named for the infamous doomed outlaw, “JESSE JAMES” is an unrelenting hardstyle track with stabbing synths and Western-inspired, plucking instrumentals that all build into a vicious drop sequence. True to GRAVEDGR’s sound, “JESSE JAMES” is not for the faint of heart, but will be a bone-shaking delight to bass and hardstyle fiends. GRAVEDGR’s success with “RAMPAGE” bodes well for this new release: “RAMPAGE” amassed over 1M streams in the first two weeks after its release, secured the #8 spot on Spotify’s Global Viral 50, and was featured on Spotify “Mint” playlist cover. The masked maniac is playing his first headlining show in Los Angeles at the El Rey Theatre on July 19th, so catch him if you can. If this is any indication of what’s ahead for GRAVEDGR, we can’t wait to see what’s next.

NEW MUSIC:: THE SHINDELLAS RELEASES DEBUT SINGLE “RECONSIDER”

“Creating a platform for better representation of black women in music is very important to us. We’ve heard the disrespectful opinions being shared on conference calls and in board meetings. We’ve seen what gets the green light and what doesn’t. We see the void in popular music. We’ve worked with the very best women in the music business so it’s only fitting that Louis York makes a statement…through art. That statement is THESHINDELLAS! We hope people will really listen to “RECONSIDER”, love it and add it to their lifestyles,” states Chuck Harmony and Claude Kelly, Weirdo Workshop, Founders, and CEO.

Indie pop duo Cathedrals unveil new single “Behave” via Consequence of Sound

The track and its video premiered in a feature on Consequence of Sound where the band’s Brodie Jenkins shared, “We are so often told to repress, tame, hide, hold back. But it’s so much more fun to break the rules. So the lyrics morphed into an expression of self-empowerment and a cheeky celebration of sexuality and love, the voice of the song is confident, irreverent and fearless.”
