Kenneth Nixon states “For the last few years there was a part of me that I was running away from. When FH ended, I was vocal that ‘rock n roll broke my heart.’ But the last 6 months I realized that I was just being a bitch and rock n roll was a huge part of my life. Writing together with Ryan again, our sound came back and I knew we had to let fans of FH hear what we had been suppressing. Get ready; this shit is gonna get fun.”
Galen Ayers didn’t set out to pursue a music career. In fact, she attempted to run in the opposite direction, despite studying ethnomusicology along with religion as a double-major undergrad. (She also has a double master’s in the psychology of religion and Buddhism.) But eventually, she discovered her DNA could not be denied. Ayers, whose late father, Kevin, co-founded the influential British psych-rock band Soft Machine, finally gave in to that most demanding of muses: fate. The happy result is Monument, a beguiling album of folk-inflected dream-pop set for release July 27, 2018 on Bombinate Records.
Tayla Releases Video For Latest Track ‘FWU’
Tayla’s sound is a melting pot of Pop, Hip Hop and R&B – it is this mixture that makes her music memorable yet so rare. Produced by MR WA7T, ‘FWU’ is an adrenaline-fueled track and fearless ‘girl power’ anthem. Explaining FWU Tayla says “FWU for me is one of those, big middle finger, fearless yet sexy-and-savage-with-it kind of track. I don’t abide by the rules, I won’t take shit from anyone, that’s what FWU stands for. The mixture of Pop, R&B, Hip Hop and some Acid House in this song screams badass to me. That’s what I am”
Everything by Electricity’s Yulia flees Soviet oppression to finish new track ‘Place To Call My Own’
‘Everything by Electricity are redolent of mid-period New Order and the bittersweet majesty of ’80s 4AD groups, with an ambition and widescreen brilliance all of their own, the atmospheric production and spiralling synth patterns gives you the feeling of staring into the middle distance at the blinking lights of the city’s winter sky.’ – God Is In The TV

To stick around for the whole song, through detailed production and to return to it, through melody.
Rising Hiphop/Rap Artist Erike Sparks Releases New Track ‘Body On Me’
Erike Sparks is an artist who has a truly focussed vision of how he wants to communicate with his audiences. Having grown up in London, his message to working class people of all races and ages is to be true to themselves and the genuine friends around them. This message of believing in yourself and those who stick by you through thick and thin, is reflected not only in his lyrics but only in his latest video to his track “Infrared Beam”. Shunning the obvious route, Erike has filmed his video in the wilds of Scotland, showing his single-mindedness and unwillingness to conform with the habits which drive many of his age to crime.
