JØUR Releases Reflective New Single “American Nightmare”

Alt-pop singer, JØUR, released her captivating new single, “American Nightmare.” The track is the first single off of her upcoming record, Chiaroscuro. The song captures the essence of JØUR’s alt-pop sound with electronic minimalism and angelic delicacy. “American Nightmare” is now available for download across all digital music platforms.

Corusco Release Emotional New Single “Daughter”

Texas three-piece Corusco have been flying under the radar the last few years while writing new music and performing around the country. The band recently announced what they’ve been working on, their debut album Wake which has been set for release on May 25th, 2018. Produced by Aaron Gillespie (Underoath, The Almost), Wake was inspired by the idea that each song on it’s own is a piece of a larger mosaic that comes together to recreate a variety of memories encapsulated within the album. Corusco has teamed up with The Noise for the premiere of their newest single, “Daughter.” Written by vocalist/guitarist Aaron Gonzalez, the track is a personal one written from his mother’s perspective as she speaks to her father at different points in their relationship.

JACK MOSBACHER RELEASES “YOUR HEARTACHES I CAN SURELY HEAL”

San Francisco troubadour Jack Mosbacher is excited to announce the release of “Your Heartaches I Can Surely Heal,” a song originally recorded by soul icon David Ruffin. The single is part of a very special tribute EP to Ruffin called Whynot (after Ruffin’s hometown of Whynot, Mississippi) that features four of his relatively unknown solo recordings.

Tamed West Premiere “My Old Friend” via OPB

As an homage to Stumptown Coffee Roaster’s illustrious musical past and present, the coffee roaster releases Worker’s Comp Volume II this May. Worker’s Comp, Volume I was recorded in June 2001 after hours, live at Stumptown Coffee Roasters on Division. To further and support their passion for music, in late 2017, Stumptown gathered together employee’s bands from across the country and flew them to Portland to record at The Map Room in Southeast. Produced by longtime Stumptown friend, Mike Coykendall, 11 bands including Uncle Hornet, Dommengang, Giant Peach, Tamed West and White Glove, recorded original songs for the album.

“The original idea for this song was inspired by my experience at ‘Desert Trip’, a concert where I got to see some of my all-time favorite musical inspirations perform including Paul McCartney and The Rolling Stones,” says Michaels. “The whole weekend ended with Roger Waters from Pink Floyd playing ‘The Wall’ along with a massive pink pig blimp floating over the audience and thousands of lighters in the air. Israeli-born, LA-Based Alt/Indie Rocker, Decreek, Drops NEW Track

Central figure, Guy Azrhan, aka “Decreek” took his stage name from meaning of his name in Hebrew (“Creek”) and “The” in Dutch (“De”), which stemmed from his time in Amsterdam.

Native Israeli , Azrhan changed his name to Guy Johnson upon moving to the US, and first turned to music after developing PTSD upon returning from serving in the Israeli military. Music proved to be his most therapeutic outlet, and he enrolled in an Israeli music school shortly thereafter.
