Grace Carter Releases New Track “Saving Grace”

Grace explains, “’Saving Grace’ is a song I wrote for my mum and the strong women who helped her raise me. I spent my whole childhood focused on what wasn’t there and this song is about the moment I realized the most important people have been right in front of me this whole time.” The confessional track features thunderous percussion, ethereal piano and powerful vocals from the British rising star.

It was directed by Justin Bettman, who has earned acclaim for the ongoing art project Set in the Street, which repurposes found materials to create interior sets on city streets. Lewis leaves his audience wanting more with this energetic and addictive song. “Bad Influence” is now available to stream or download from all digital music outlets.

“Bad Influence,” produced by Ben Soldate, is about that addictive feeling one receives from things and situations that subconsciously you know are not good for you. Additional production was done by Los Angeles based music producer and DJ, Elliot Luke. The upbeat track features Rob Humphreys (drums), Erik Carlson (guitar), Kurtis Keber (bass) and Will Herrington (keys). The song is written from Lewis’ personal experiences and impulses. “I’ve got a totally addictive personality…and once I get a taste of something I just want more. Even when I know I should stop,” explains Lewis.

Justin Bettman says, “It was awesome working Donna on this project. She was super collaborative and brought some great ideas. We both wanted the music video to feel like a short film with her song as the background as opposed to a traditional performance music video. The film is about empowerment and breaking out of the box that we often create for ourselves.”

GRUESOME: Loudwire Shares “Inhumane” Video

Comments vocalist/guitarist Matt Harvey,”We’re very stoked about how this video turned out. [Director] Jeff Sisson (Exhumed, Origin) really took the concept and ran with it, creating something new and unique, while still in the spirit of homage that GRUESOME is all about. This is the lead-off track for the record, and we feel like it really sets the tone for Twisted Prayers – a blend of OSDM savagery and a bit of melody and flash to mix things up a bit. Play this at work to creep out your co-workers or on the bus home to get the person sitting next to you to fuck off! Thanks for checking it out, thanks to Jeff for putting this together, and as always thanks to Chuck [Schuldiner] and the boys for their legacy, which we continue to have a blast celebrating!”
