Ana Egge Announces New Album White Tiger

On June 8, 2018, Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Ana Egge will release her new album White Tiger via StorySound Records.

Today, Egge shares the lead single “Dance Around The Room With Me”, which features Anais Mitchell on background vocals and Big Thief’s Buck Meek on guitar. UPROXX said “The spirited and vivacious track is about traversing through life deeply attuned to each cursory feeling, even the ones that seem insignificant or sting mercilessly….In it, she declares a warmly buoyant mantra: ‘Dance around the room with me / Start dancing and you’ll see / How it opens up, opens up your heart.'”

The answers for these feelings are not fully clear, but ultimately she acknowledges “there’s a reason/you are by my side/again.” Details on Wet’s forthcoming album will be announced at a later date.

BEACH BOYS PERCUSSIONIST BEATS MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS WITH JAMBOXX

– A noted percussionist with multiple sclerosis is the new ambassador for Jamboxx, a hands-free breath powered instrument.

“As a long-time touring and recording percussionist, I was diagnosed with MS, which eventually hindered my expression as a performer,” said Jackie Bertone, best known for his involvement with The Beach Boys. “Fortunately, with Jamboxx, I can now be more musical than ever, exploring a melodic side along with enhancing my rhythmic foundation, while finding new passion on the road to health and musical discovery.”

Bertone appears on The Beach Boys platinum-selling album “Stars and Stripes, Volume I,” and has also remained a constant through much of Brian Wilson’s solo career. Specializing in the styles of R&B, Funk, Latin, Latin Jazz, Fusion, New Age, Country and all ethnic percussion, Bertone has played with a diversity of groups ranging from The Eagles to C+C Music Factory.
