SHIRA releases “Am I Beautiful” video in celebration of International Women’s Day
The video depicts the relationship between the Israeli-American singer/songwriter and her friend Iranian-American photographer-director Shirin Tinati, for whom Shira penned the track when she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Shirin is fortunately in remission now and the two powerful artists came together to create this project that crosses boundaries heritage and hardship. Shirin directing the video feels like the two friends have come full circle.

HOSPITAL RELEASE NEW SINGLE ‘IN THE EVENING’ – 09.03.18
Today, Russian indie pop fourpiece, Hospital, release effervescent, indie pop track ‘In The Evening’ (rel 09.03.18), the first track, from their third album, penned for release May 2018.
Speaking about the track, Hospital frontman, Egor said: This song is about that sudden feeling, where you think you don’t need anybody and nobody needs you… but despite all of that, you want to move forward and see what happens next. It’s a slightly gloomy message, with a positive twist, delivered through a detached vocal and contradicting flying guitars.
Two tracks performed – “Love Can Heal” and “Open My Eyes” – can be found on Alex’s third and most recent studio album, Tail of Lions, released on January 20, 2017 via ETC Recordings/The Orchard. Recorded on a boat while traveling the River Lea with bass-player and friend, Chris Hargreaves, the emotive album reflects Alex’s current perspective on life as a father, husband and orthodox Jew – specifically the album’s single,”Tell Me What You Need”, which explores the frustrations that often arise in relationships.
Wolfe Jackson is thrilled to release his latest single “Photographs!” The piano driven song is perfectly fulfilled by Wolfe’s soulful, but tender, vocal and deeply personal lyricism. The track builds from a simple singer-songwriter tune to a gorgeous, full-fledged ballad, equipped with a string section and a dazzling falsetto moment from the emerging Americana artist.
LUME SHARE NEW VIDEO “KEEP ME UNDER”
While the underlying meaning behind the video for “Keep Me Under” is finding beauty in the blandness of ordinary life, it chooses texture over narrative stylistically – leaving the viewer to interpret their own story. The track sets the tone for the record, finding the band attempting to get past being overrun by routine as a means to find happiness. Wrung Out is largely centered around a string of personal tragedies the band endured around the time they began work on the record. Wrung Out would become a memoriam to lost friends and a method of catharsis for the band as they went through the stages of grief.
