BLACK ROYAL: Finnish Death/Sludge Unit To Release Debut Full-Length

A truly dense and obliterating offering both musically and thematically, the ten-track Lightbringer centers itself on mankind’s utter failure in finding inner strength and the meaningless trust in fake ideologies. “Faith is, more or less, a consequence of fear and ignorance,” elaborates the band. “Mankind’s quest for meaning is greater than their ability to understand that we hold the key to our own potential and inner strength. This act against the original plan of The Elders and The Wise has led mankind to the brink of their own intellectual extinction. To survive, mankind must abandon the power of religious dogmas and evolve by the strength from one’s inner self. Time has come for the Lightbringer to enthrone and steer man back to the path of free thought and prove wrong their false choices (the reason for current global chaos). Now is time for the new world order. It won’t be divine.”

Metallic-hardcore band PROBLEM OF PAIN premieres new song

“‘I Carry The Weight On My Wings’ is about the struggle that it takes to overcome your personal impediments, and the emotional toll it takes as you learn from your own persistent failure,” explains drummer/co-vocalist Jake Beaver. “Sometimes being fully aware of your shortcomings yet unable to construct a way to fix them is a weight of degradation; especially if that shortcoming is a severe one. It can project negative self worth and a false inability to get better. I think everyone deals with at least one thing in their life that they just wish was never a part of them. It’s just a matter of how hard they will try and rise above it, even through many failed attempts.”

Nicky Jam is someone I’d hear at all the reggaeton parties I used to go to during the summer time. 2 Chainz is one of my favorite rappers and a legend in the South. As for me, I fall right in the middle because I was bred from all that. Being able to bridge the gap between these two worlds is something that just comes natural and authentic for me.”
