WHITNEY ROSE SHARES NEW VIDEO FOR “CAN’T STOP SHAKIN’”

“Can’t Stop Shakin'” features three of Austin’s go-to entertainers: Frostine Shake, a ballerina with a message that ‘Every Body is a Dancer’s Body’ (featured in Buzzfeed and Cosmopolitan, to name a few), burlesque sensation Ruby Joule and singer/dancer Jolie Goodnight. “Can’t Stop Shakin'” was directed by Blake Judd and Todd Tue of Milk Products Media.

Producer & Vocalist, Repato Releases Moody Electronic Single, “If I Only”

Today, LA-based producer, vocalist and songwriter, Repato releases his new single, “If I Only.” The song premiered this morning on the Casablanca Sunset blog.

“If I Only” features a soft and melodic lead vocal that floats above the song’s comforting syncopated rhythm and moody bass line. As the song develops, and the chorus emerges (~1:07), the listener is met with a rich harmonic synth that is perfectly mixed beside swaying percussion and nostalgic textures.

Minneapolis noise rap transgender duo Moodie Black

Now well over a decade into a career of outsider art, noise rap pioneers Moodie Black have established themselves as an uncompromisingly original act with a penchant for ferocious live shows and a host of critically acclaimed releases to their name. Early iterations of their sound began taking shape in the vast deserts of Arizona before settling into the indie rap haven of Minneapolis, with a brief stop in Los Angeles along the way. Chris Martinez (aka Kdeath), the creator and driving force of Moodie Black, recently announced that they identify as transgender, a topic touched upon with their last release Nausea that comes into sharper focus on their new album, Lucas Acid.

IGORRR To Kick Off Debut North American Tour TONIGHT!

France’s IGORRR will kick off their mini North American expedition tonight in Montreal. Touring in support of their latest album and Metal Blade debut, Savage Sinusoid, the trek includes stops in New York City, Mexico City, and Los Angeles. See all confirmed dates below.

IGORRR spent their Summer on tour with performances in Israel and Turkey, as well as shows all over Europe in clubs and at notable fests including Dour Festival, Hellfest, UK Tech Fest, Brutal Assault, and more. Zach Callison “War!”

Debut single, “War!” introduces Zach Callison with a sprawling, epic chapter of an intense Hollywood love affair. Produced by Chase Ryan, Anthony Mazza, and Callison himself, the single is a dynamic fusion of sounds that incorporates inspirations from blues rock, theatrical storytelling, and fast-paced rap verse. The unapologetic revenge track introduces Juanita as the feuding lover of the protagonist, who despite his vengeful promise to outshine her music career, is still the object of his obsession. A big band symphony of horns rages beneath Callison’s alchemical control of rhyme and diction, spitting lines alongside wild piano (played by Callison) and fuzzy electric guitar.

TERROR UNIVERSAL Debuts on iTunes and Billboard Charts in First Week!

Last week, masked metal supergroup TERROR UNIVERSAL unleashed their brand new debut full-length album, entitled Make Them Bleed, via minus HEAD Records. In its first week, Make Them Bleed debuted at #8 on the iTunes Metal chart, as well as #13 on the Billboard New Artist chart, #17 on the Billboard Hard Music chart, and #165 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart! In addition, the album landed at #3 on Metal Contraband’s Most Added chart (#11 overall debut), in addition to #27 on the NACC Loud Rock chart.

Von Sell – New Track (first release in over a year)

Upon returning to New York, Von Sell partnered with NYU’s Steinhardt students and Village Records to craft his new gem and first song since his hiatus titled “Hell No”. Collaborating with grammy winning producer, Juan Cristobal Losada, “Hell No” is mid- tempo ballad about being conflicted and in denial about love, infatuation and losing yourself in your desire for another. Needless to say, we are happy to have him back and ready for what comes next.
