NEW JON LINDSAY SINGLE “ZEBULON”

Chicago’s File 13 Records announces the pre-order and first listen for media of “Zebulon,” a compelling yet irresistibly catchy new single from solo artist Jon Lindsay, officially out worldwide on December 22nd. The song features a ridiculously funky horn arrangement from Matt Douglas of The Mountain Goats, and drums by John Howie Junior, of Sarah Shook and the Disarmers. It also happens to artfully tackle systemic bigotry—from the bigot’s POV, no less—as well as anybody has since the classic Randy Newman records of the 1970s.

New Single: Eric Sharp ft Somme — Night Turns To Day

Coming off a Hype Machine #1 track with ‘Take This Time ft Zhao’, Night Turns To Day is an exploration of a slightly slower pace than most of Eric’s work. On the production side, its a lush, melodic mid-tempo jam that should be enjoyed in an early afternoon pool party or a lounge atmosphere. The songwriting digs into the sweet madness of obsession, with Somme’s warm vocal tones suiting the vibe of the track perfectly.
