Hillary Capps Releases New Holiday Single “Remind Me”

From Hillary: “I’ve always loved the Holidays. Growing up in Vermont it was a magical time… going to the Christmas tree farm and choosing a huge tree, decorating the house, hot cocoa, sledding, gift giving, the music. Now, living in New York, it’s a different experience but the same kind of feeling; Lights strung up above the streets, storefront window decorations, holiday markets, teeny tiny Christmas trees. It’s easy to get caught up in the stress that December can bring with traveling, family dynamics, and gift lists. “Remind Me” is about choosing gratitude, reflecting, and finding joy in the simple things that have the capacity to bring us so much peace and happiness if we let them.”

Quicksilver Daydream Shares “Coyote Spirit Child” Track On Folk Radio U.K.

Folk Radio U.K. has premiered the new single from Quicksilver Daydream entitled “Coyote Spirit Child”. When talking about the track vocalist/composer Adam Lytle says, “Coyote Spirit Child extols the spiritual benefits of living in tune with the natural world – traveling beneath open skies, listening to the rivers song, and being conscious of our place in the cosmos. The music was written over the course of several months, evolving out of extended motif-based jams. Letting instincts be our guide, the collective approach to development and exploration evoked a kinetic energy that echoed the lyrical subject matter. The song serves as a thematic companion to our previous single Ferryman, in which the subject leaves his or her belongings behind and learns “to read the patterns of the tide” on the journey towards spiritual awakening. In Coyote Spirit Child, the character has achieved awakening. She has opened her eyes and ears to the universe, gaining wisdom, and thus freedom, in return.”
