Multi-Instrumentalist / Singer / Songwriter / Producer Skrizzly Adams Reveals NEW EP
Skrizzly Adams says he wants to “make the Americana of the future.” And, by all accounts, the future is now. The New Jersey-born singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer has made name for himself by seamlessly blending elements of indie rock, pop, and hip hop – a nod to whom Skrizzly considers the Holy Trinity: Bruce Springsteen, Johnny Cash, and Kanye West. Today, Adams releases his first body of work in three years, a new EP entitled Atlantic City. Of the EP Adams says, “It’s a concept project that runs start to finish and I couldn’t be more excited about it! It’s meant to be listened to at full blast while flying down the highway. The project tells the story from the point of view of a young man who runs away to Atlantic City for a night with his girlfriend. They lock themselves in a motel room for a night to escape reality.”
SF psych master Joel Gion (the eternally great tambourine player of the Brian Jonestown Massacre) just released his s/t album Joel Gion a few weeks ago, and today, he has shared his reflective, DIY video for “Come to Light” via the Big Takeover. The vid comes across as a celebration of and reflection upon a city’s inner parts and its outskirts, and it features a wandering Gion whose perambulations take him through the city, from dawn to dusk. ”

Introducing: TWIMM (previously Indians + Søren Juull)
“Starting with my new single “BLAME”, I’m thrilled to explore this new chapter. It’s a song you sing to yourself but also wants and needs an audience. It’s about fighting for all the best intentions, a fight to make beauty appear, but a lost battle. You have to be ok letting go of all the good intentions and maintain a little respect for yourself.” – TWIMM

For the music video we wanted to take the viewer through a time lapse of us not having nothing nice to us accomplishing what we set out to do by getting the dream car. We take our fans from us driving a bucket to us pushing a ghost and the different attention that can come with both. We hope to inspire our fans to set their mind to their crafts and not stop till they get what they envisioned.”

Hillary Capps Releases New Holiday Single “Remind Me”
From Hillary: “I’ve always loved the Holidays. Growing up in Vermont it was a magical time… going to the Christmas tree farm and choosing a huge tree, decorating the house, hot cocoa, sledding, gift giving, the music. Now, living in New York, it’s a different experience but the same kind of feeling; Lights strung up above the streets, storefront window decorations, holiday markets, teeny tiny Christmas trees. It’s easy to get caught up in the stress that December can bring with traveling, family dynamics, and gift lists. “Remind Me” is about choosing gratitude, reflecting, and finding joy in the simple things that have the capacity to bring us so much peace and happiness if we let them.”

Quicksilver Daydream Shares “Coyote Spirit Child” Track On Folk Radio U.K.
Folk Radio U.K. has premiered the new single from Quicksilver Daydream entitled “Coyote Spirit Child”. When talking about the track vocalist/composer Adam Lytle says, “Coyote Spirit Child extols the spiritual benefits of living in tune with the natural world – traveling beneath open skies, listening to the rivers song, and being conscious of our place in the cosmos. The music was written over the course of several months, evolving out of extended motif-based jams. Letting instincts be our guide, the collective approach to development and exploration evoked a kinetic energy that echoed the lyrical subject matter. The song serves as a thematic companion to our previous single Ferryman, in which the subject leaves his or her belongings behind and learns “to read the patterns of the tide” on the journey towards spiritual awakening. In Coyote Spirit Child, the character has achieved awakening. She has opened her eyes and ears to the universe, gaining wisdom, and thus freedom, in return.”
