The Orielles Share New Track “Let Your Dogtooth Grow”

Produced by Marta Salogni, one of the most exciting young producers in the UK, the energetic track follows the success of their other recent tracks “Sugar Tastes Like Salt” and “I Only Bought It For The Bottle”.

Made up of sisters Sidonie B and Esmé Dee Hand Halford and their best friend Henry Carlyle Wade, still aged only 21, 18 & 17 respectively, the band comment: “‘Let Your Dogtooth Grow’ was once again recorded and produced by the legend that is Marta ‘bueno’ Salogni. It features our first (but certainly not last) outing with the Mini Moog, which oscillates freely throughout the closing minute of the track. Furthermore, the outro to the song becomes a melting-pot of our influences, combining guitar riffs reminiscent of Turkish psychedelic musician, Mustafa Ozkent with the Moog Synth riff which is redolent of Donna Summer’s ‘I Feel Love'”

It is again a theme based album, thematically revolving round the rise of the new society that forms after the war that mankind lost against Starlit Flame, the nanomachine entity. Musically it’s a lot more melodic and “sunny”, pun intended. But lyrically it’s still very dark and gritty”.

Goon share acoustic tinged second single off new EP called “She”

Singer-songwriter / guitarist Kenny Becker explains: I wrote this song in 2012 following a breakup and a realization that I had already begun to lose my faith. The song got shelved but in 2016 when we began recording new tunes it reemerged and we tracked it. Upon completing the song, I was actually in the midst of another breakup, and was kinda losing my mind with sad and lonely energy. The lyrics took on a renewed meaning. I also had the idea for the song’s ending then, with the weird voices and sorta upbeat-melancholy jam. That ending became a kind of wordless meditation on all the feelings I was having at the time.

AViVA has been spending the past year traveling between LA and Australia as she experiments with new sounds and styles.
