Trupa Trupa Share ‘Jolly New Songs’ Album Trailer

http://www.imposemagazine.com/bytes/new-music/trupa-trupa-jolly-new-songsToday, Gdansk, Poland post-punk-psych band Trupa Trupa share the trailer for their third LP Jolly New Songs. Shuckster Single “Three Of Swords”

“III of Swords” is the debut Single from Shuckster, a rock and roll band from Nashville, TN. Made up of Mike Williams and Andy Zimmerman (of The Running) on guitar/vocals and drums respectively, and Ben Lowry (of the 1-10’s and Bang OK Bang) on bass/vocals. The single was produced by Brad Voss, whose past recording projects include bands like The Meat Puppets. Shucksters brand of rock and roll is astonishingly raw for how melodic it is. The harmonic counterpoint between the vocal lines of Williams and Lowry, laid over top of classic song structures is pleasantly irresistible. The songwriting occupies a space sometime between Buddy Holly and Elvis Presley, while the loud/soft dynamics and guitar tones put you right in the peak of 90’s grunge in the vein of The Pixies or Nirvana. The single is available on itunes, Spotify, bandcamp, and from other online music vendors.

JOUR is contrast. head vs heart. light vs dark. clear vs obscure. minimalism vs complexity. analog vs electronic. In the space between loud and quiet, power and serenity, JØUR dances boldly yet delicately. Her deeply contemplative lyrics are framed in accessible alt-pop sensibilities and beats. Oslo based Thea & The Wild releases powerful new single ‘Paved The Way’
